  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

My Mayor smokes crack............does yours.

It is both hilarious and incredibly disgusting. Just like the worst reality TV show.

Shoorly he'll just implode now.

"I'm sincerely, sincerely, sincerely sorry"

Fuck off Ford.

I have to think at this point the only reason that this classifiable sociopath is focussed on is how many deals he can cut to make him and his disgusting brother rich at the expense of the people of Toronto before he gets that huge ass turfed out of office next year.

It was a story on tonight's "CBS Evening News."
Does he have no shame?
He says he's going to let the voters decide if he should serve another term.
Okay Toronto...wake up and smell the Maxwell House! This guy is a Loser with a capital L.

I know how my PeTe feels about this jerk! :D

He says he's going to let the voters decide if he should serve another term.

Last week he was predicting that the next election was going to be a bloodbath.

He's turned City Hall into a media circus. He wants to get back to doing his job, but it's not easy when council has to wade through a sea of reporters, microphones, and cameras.

Basically, Ford is asking the people of Toronto to trust him.

The problem, based on his behaviour — including consorting with criminals — is that Ford is no longer worthy of the public’s trust.

Even during his two media appearances Tuesday, he was still trying to rationalize away his own wrongdoing.

He absurdly suggested the reason he didn’t admit to crack use six months ago, when reports of him being caught on video doing it first surfaced, was that reporters didn’t ask the right questions at the time.

Ford keeps saying he accepts responsibility for his actions and only he is to blame for them, but his first move the day after his admission of public drunkenness was to tell his own executive committee members to resign if they wouldn’t stand by him.

The reaction of the Toronto Sun and the people leaving comments is pretty telling. It is well known that the Fords have had staffers in the past post pro-Ford comments (and call into their radio show) under a stream of aliases to counter the negative comments by other people. That seems to have almost come to a halt over the last 24 hours. Maybe the staffers have run out of bullshit too?

I have to think that there will now be a race to the exits in the Mayor's office. Except for crack whores, pimps and influence peddlers, who is going to want to have this on their resume?

"I reflected on it last night, and talked to my family. I came forward and admitted it. That's all I can do. I mean, I'm not perfect. Being in politics, you're in the spotlight all the time. I made a mistake. I made a major mistake. I really regret it." -- Rob Ford.

Sound familiar? That was in 2006, after a drunken rant at the ACC. Then, as is the case now.....Ford only capitulated when faced with irrefutable evidence of his actions.

There are a number of motions being drafted to strip the mayor of some of his powers that will come to council next week. Hopefully, he will have departed by then. It is time for the Ford bullies to stop thinking that this is some kind of football game that they can bulldoze their way through.

From the article ^

"I reflected on it last night, and talked to my family. I came forward and admitted it. That's all I can do. I mean, I'm not perfect. Being in politics, you're in the spotlight all the time. I made a mistake. I made a major mistake. I really regret it." -- Rob Ford.

There is a difference between being "in the spotlight all the time" and doing everything possible to put yourself there, Rob. Still, you see yourself as never having done anything wrong. Well, you see it, but you don't admit to it very often.

and to think a couple of weeks ago he was demanding a city rec employee be fired for allegedly sleeping on the job. but he can go on with his job when he smokes crack and hangs out with criminals and drug dealers when he should be working.

http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/10/16/toronto-sleeping-worker/

“If this is the case, I’m going to ask for the manager and the employee to be dismissed. We cannot tolerate this,” he said at city hall. “I want people to show up to work and do their job. If they can’t do their job, there’s thousands of other people that are willing and able to do their job.”

ok you dumb fuck of a mayor remember when you fell asleep in chamber were you "in a drunken stupor" then.

^ As I noted yesterday....every staffer in hizzoner's office has to be gauging the distance to the exit.

Although, given that the councillors may be moving to strip him of some of the staff anyway...they may just wait it out to be dismissed.

^ she sounds lovely Ron and what a Lovely name she has.

can we trade mayors?

This is not funny anymore.

Rob Ford caught in video rant

“I’m gonna kill that f--king guy. I’m telling you, it’s first-degree murder,” Mayor Rob Ford rages as someone in the room secretly uses a cellular phone to film the chief magistrate’s addled tirade.
“I’ll rip his f--king throat out. I’ll poke his eyes out . . . . I’ll make sure that motherf--ker’s dead,” Ford says, then hitches up his pant legs as if bracing for action.

^ The city of Toronto should converge on City Hall, swarm it, and throw his sorry ass out onto the curb. A bit of tar and feathers would be a nice touch, and then stockades. I'll supply the rotten veggies.

If this doesn't get him out of office, I don't know what will. The guy is a disgrace to Canada.

(Paraphrased) "To err is human. Forgiveness is divine. There is no forgiveness in the media."

That's when I turned it off.

He has no reason to resign. We have no reason to forgive him.
