OK this is too much  ... I want to get rid of the odour and the neighbours. Any suggestions?

But still, Mike, curry is not supposed to be that smelly...unless you're talking about spoilt curry...or the curry-like substance people produce when they have diarrhoea...

I feel your pain (*8*) ... my neighbours cook bacon and, as a vegetarian, I tend to find the vile stench of burning flesh utterly nauseating. :help:

In the bond movies, it seems like vats of strong acid were effective. . .

Remember to ask permission first -- don't want to stray into anything illegal.

Your quote is incomplete. If you need to quote do the whole thing instead of editing it. The focus here is on odour too. But looking at the lease terms they may be in violation of section 16 subparagraph 12 item 2.

yum.......sounds good to me.

I would invite myself to dinner.

and they would love me for being a good neighbour.

2 things that make your body smelly after eating curry:

"Turmeric and Red Onion (Shallot)"

Please dont be too crazy over them :?

Aren't shallots sort of purple and white inside and the skin brownish not really red?

I used to live one floor above an Indian food restaurant. Sundays were a bitch. That's when they made 'ketchup' (onion sauce).

Lots of curry smells at lunch time and throughout the evening.

The smell got into everything and I couldn't find a way to cover it up.

Ugh...that is truly sickening and bacony odours linger forever clinging to any surface. I guess it's all that grease.

Did you end up simply moving? I would because with that setup it would be a daily assault. Here I am complaining about something that isn't daily at least.

Cool your jets, bub...you could have a biohazard on your hands if they decided to one day "shake it up" and put those chemical engineering degrees to good use and make some homemade Crystal Meth!

Just Sayin...

Be more accepting of races and cultural differences...

Nothing to do with race but just for your info they are Caucasian. As for cultural differences they are actually from this area. No biggie. But the point was made in my original post and once again it had to do with the strong odour. They tend to burn the fish as well so it makes it worse and with poor air management as well the situation is exacerbated.
But you may wish to examine why you would jump to such a conclusion that it was about race. Sterotype much?

Perhaps an anonymous note in their mailbox to let them know that the smell is disturbing to neighbors. I have spoken to landlords who have a very tough time renting to people who cook with curry. The smell tends to stick to everything in an apartment and can be a real turn-off to future renters.
