Hey guys! Thought I might get some advice on kind of a strange situation...

I met this really great guy back in March and we've been getting more and more serious ever since. He's a graphic / web site designer and just recently created a website for a gay porn studio here in San Diego. During the job, he made some friends and was approached about doing some work on film for the studio. Anyways, he has been really turned on by the idea of doing porn since and last night asked me if I would do a porn shoot with him. While the idea of having guys watch and film me having sex is a turn on (especially since it would just be sex with my boyfriend) I worry about who might end up seeing the video.. I do think it would be something really hot to do for him.

What do you guys think? Has anyone else here done porn before? Any regrets?

- Todd

Never done porn and don't feel the need too but you've already answered your question.

Your nervous about who is going to view it... so don't do it.

Once it's out there, you have no real control over when and how it might come up or back into your personal and/or work life.

So, unless you're sure you don't really care, it's definitely not a good idea for most civilians.

Boyfriends come and go, but porn is forever.

Unless you plan on being a porn star, expect it to come back to haunt you in future relationships or your work someday. If you get off on being an exhibitionist, just put on a live show for strangers....without cameras.

When you do porn, you sell away your dignity and chances for public service. You will never get a job working with kids or protecting the community because any federal background check will reveal your past and what you did. No employer looking for professional integrity will hire a porn star.

Remember, you may get paid a $1,000 bucks to do it and please the boyfriend you are currently seeing right now; however, that video will always be there, always be floating on the internet. You cannot get rid of it. The damage to your reputation is permanent.

And you should never, ever do it just because a boyfriend wants you to. The relationship may not even last and you will always regret doing it for an "ex."

If that was my man, he wouldn't be doing it. I could never date a guy who did porn, because inside it destroys the image of him. He would seem dirty and used, because when i date a guy, its like its me and him - thats it. And if he did porn, even solo porn, it would seem wrong cause he's selling his body for something that is fun, but also wrong.

ummm....its really something you need to think for yourself man, look inside yourself for this answer. Cause anyone can give you all the advice you want, but you need to think about your relationship you have with this guy, and if the relationship is actually worth something in the future if he did this and if he didn't do the porn.

self reflection seems a good idea on this.

Sounds like a bad idea to me. Even if I looked the part of a porn star, I would never do it. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of hot things besides porn you can do for him in the privacy of your bedroom.

You really need to fully think this out, and way are the things that could happen. It sounds like you still have a lot to think about concerning this. ALso I'm going to sound like Jasun, but it's sad how many users are so judgemental when it comes to porn. The whole porn stars are good enough get off on, but not good enough to respect is pretty disgusting.

I don't think the posters are saying anything bad about porn stars. I have no problem with them for sure (ask Jasun haha). But what they are saying is that doing porn DOES affect your life. It's a reality in life that society in general does not respect porn. And so, by doing porn, you are subject to those societal views if you go to look for another job or public office.

As much as I find the idea of porn a TOTAL turn on, I would never do it.... it really can't be undone. Maybe people won't find out about depending on what you do with your life. But if you decide to run for any sort of public office, I'll guarantee you that the media will dig that film up in a heartbeat. And that's not the only place where it will come back to haunt you.

I don't think anyone is saying that you can't respect porn stars. But being one, even for a while, can have personal and work consequencies. Fine if those don't matter to you. But a problem if they do.

Also there are porn actors and porn actors. Some guys are very successful and make a lot of money at it. Some guys dip into it and also lead happy lives. But others do get financially and emotionally exploited. That's the part that people don't respect about porn.

pORN IS CURVED IN STONE; IT IS THERE FOREVER AND EVER. JUST THINK OF THIS THOUGHT DUDE.

I love watching porn but that would be it - no way, would I strip for the entire to see. I don't want it to come back and haunt me next year or 10, 20 years down the track. Fully think it over but if you're sure that you wouldn't worry about the effects it might have on you in the future, then, go for it! :) At the end of the day, it is a personal decision.

If it would be the end of the world if people found out, don't do it.

If it woudln't and you want to do it... go ahead.

We have plenty of models who went on to very good careers.. a couple doctors, a lawyer, a hollywood stunt man, a few actors, personla trainers, mainstream models...

And look on the brightside.... from some of the answers in this thread you'll never have to worry about dating uptight jerks again.

ok i skimmed through the first 2 pages and didn't see a post like this, so i posted my own titled "help!" with the same issue, and as soon as it posted i noticed this one.

i feel dumb.

Hell, I'd do it. I could see if he asked you to fuck other guys or asked you if it was okay for him to fuck other guys just for the site... Just see it as an activity that couples do together. You know? Like some like to go to the movies, some like to go to baseball games, some like to do puzzles, and some like to do porn.
