TN+Film: good response time, cheap price, bad contrast and colour quality. Mainly used for office work or gaming.

Then there's MVA/PVA and IPS, which have slower response and are more expensive, but they're better for graphical work.

It is a 37 inch, and I really like the contrast and quality. The default and auto settings are terrible, but I have them looking pretty nice.

OK, it is really hard to tell from a picture, but they are pretty solid.
