my pc.

Someone was on my pc,and with me calling a free telephone number. this guy showed me pages of
things, ment nothing to me, but told me my pc has many problems, and to fix would cost me.
£169.00,.. number of events stand at 56,731....the name of Co. is Fix my Pc..

Question what should I do to clean up my pc, as I do view porn, but don't do backing on line or buy goods on line..

I think Fix My PC is a scam and if you downloaded their program more likely it put all those issues on your computer. I usually use AVAST for antivirus I know there are other options but I use it for my laptop. I would get Malwarebytes Anti-Malware it might help if you get any nasty malware from porn sites. I think there are other programs. Also I keep hearing Microsoft Security Essentials is really good as well.

What GamerBear said, Fix My PC is a scam. You have many options to get freeware as far as anti malware and virus protection are concerned. The ones he mentions are really good.

Well thank you for replys.I do use the the protection items listed. so glad I didn't let them take money of me,as Im an OAP.

Its me again. PCcleaner plus. did a full scan on my computer, with the following.
System issues.72
privacy issues.26.
junk files.57.4mb. 213.
malware. -
software issues.1. total issues 312. my question,should I pay to get this cleanup,or any other ideas.please.

Thank you for reply, took my pc to shop here,got a clean up and cost me £40.oo, so im happy now.
man in shop told me lots of unwanted downloads,etc..im back on line...cheers.
