My Shrinking Hose...

My hose is just too big to handle comfortably ;)
Actually, I decided to get one great big long hose, when I should have got lot of smaller ones to link together. This thing in the ad seems like a good idea, but I can picture it constantly tangling up, and then breaking after only a few years of use. Also, what if you accidentally leave it outside when it freezes? Would it just burst, or is it designed to withstand freezing water, like a better quality normal hose?

Apparently, it works as advertised, but the ends are cheap plastic that break immediately...

" Initially, it worked exactly as promised. The FlexAble Hose expanded and retracted and was very easy to use and put away. It also never kinked. However, the hose ends are made from cheap plastic that cannot stand up to any water pressure.

The free spray nozzle is great. After three uses, the end of the hose burst and the plastic attachment and spray nozzle shot right past my face.

We then attached the 75' hose and turned the spigot to only half its pressure to avoid any further accidents. Within the first two minutes of use it burst from the other end. The plastic was still attached to the spigot and the hose was shriveled up.

Does the shrunk part really get long and firm--or is this a cheap gimmick?;)

It shrinks?

It shrinks as the water goes out, it winds up fitting in a tatelful little pot...

It seems pretty durable, you just can't let your hose lay around with the water on. It might burst and we wouldn't want that...

Its OK FP,You don't have to hide behind that fake hose story. You can tell us the story about the "REAL" shrinking hose. :( (*8*)
Thats an old story, everyone knows it already...

It gets plenty long and firm..

Will this hose replace the eel in the ass?

:p

NOTHING can replace the eel in the ass....NOTHING

I have a shrinking hose too, but it recently sprung a leak...at night...all on it's own... without my help. For real!!!

Ok, stop laughing now.

Hell, I cannot hardly stand any more hose shrinkage, any more such nonsense & I might as well hang it up--if there is even any hose left to get hung up on :)

I fell for the ads and bought one of these too. It's not my favorite hose, and I agree the plastic ends suck. I did replace one end with a brass shut off and like it better.

I enjoyed the country twang of that promo. Not getting the hose though.

I have a short, light hose problem. What would you suggest for that???
stretch it out by hanging rocks from it....

GET THE HOSE....YOU NEED THE HOSE

Those hoses are not all they're cracked up to be, they don't last long and can puncture easily, we have had 2 of them and got a got 3-4 months out of them
