My hose is just too big to handle comfortably

Actually, I decided to get one great big long hose, when I should have got lot of smaller ones to link together. This thing in the ad seems like a good idea, but I can picture it constantly tangling up, and then breaking after only a few years of use. Also, what if you accidentally leave it outside when it freezes? Would it just burst, or is it designed to withstand freezing water, like a better quality normal hose?
Apparently, it works as advertised, but the ends are cheap plastic that break immediately...
"
Initially, it worked exactly as promised. The FlexAble Hose expanded and retracted and was very easy to use and put away. It also never kinked. However, the hose ends are made from cheap plastic that cannot stand up to any water pressure.
The free spray nozzle is great. After three uses, the end of the hose burst and the plastic attachment and spray nozzle shot right past my face.
We then attached the 75' hose and turned the spigot to only half its pressure to avoid any further accidents. Within the first two minutes of use it burst from the other end. The plastic was still attached to the spigot and the hose was shriveled up."
