My Supporter status has expired!

I got an email last week telling me my 'Supporter' status was about to expire. I went to the section to try and renew, but since I was already a member, I got this message telling me there were no new subscriptions available to me. Over the past year, I've made some very good friends and decided to give them the 'gift' of Supporter membership. Apparently, if you are already a member, the software sees only this and you no longer have this option. Same thing goes to renewing your membership. So, tonight I find out I am no longer a Supporter and my mailbox exceeds limits to communicate with others!

My thing is, if JUB wants to keep members being Supporters, I think they need to revamp the procedures! This is kind of insulting, if you ask me!
 
i'm surprised that there wasn't a means to re-up your supporter status. will the system allow you to do it now?

For more specific things like paying renewal fees, I'd contact admin because I have no idea.

I know I can do that now! My issue is that I had to wait for my membership to expire in order to make it happen. I was in the middle of PM'ing with someone when the change took place, so the inconvenience was annoying. Not sure if I'm going to renew at this point. I have to think about it.

Seems rather dumb to want to have something like this renewed by the site and no means to do it. Bad planning and will just serves to piss people off. Is that really what is wanted?
