Mine looks hopelessly sad in comparison. If it was sitting on the floor, the tree topper would come up to about my belly button. I've got a Charlie Brown thing going on here.

FPNY, that's a fabulous tree. Is the knitted cross significant? Google doesn't mention them.

I also love the well-lit room with all its windows: I know an interior designer who says 'a room can only be as good as its windows'.

we actually built our living room around the windows. We saw them in a magazine when we were designing the room and fell in love with them. We told our architect that we wanted them in our room.The only complaint I have about them is that at night, they look like big black holes in the living room. During the day they are very nice....

Aww! Your house is SOOOO pretty FPNY! And I really admire you getting a real tree! More and more people now a days are switching to artificial, for understandable reasons, but I think it's kind of contradictory if you ask me... what with being that the origin for Xmas trees was to celebrate how the tree could stay alive during the harsh winters.

Anyway, beautiful setup you got there!

Possible in a dog-owning house. If you were the slaves of a cat, it would be foolhardy to have such a tree.
