A friend of mine used to live in apartments where room layouts were identical and reversed where they backed each other up so they could share the plumbing. In his case, the bathroom and bedroom backed up their neighbour's bathroom and bedroom.

If my friend was in the bathroom, he could actually hear his neighbour shaving with a safety razor. He could hear the blade scraping across the man's face.

Those were thin walls!

Or maybe those neighbors are deaf like me and aren't hearing anything. I do talk and the hearing hear. Never make an assumption. If it really bothers you, invite them over for the fuckover. Then you can all moan and groan together.

It did make me wonder today who it will be after my cochlear implant is activated next Wednesday, just how important are the noises of sex are to me, and might they even be distracting.

Yeah, I understand. I live in an apartment complex with rather thin walls as well. I can hear it when people talk and move; it can be below me or either side of me.

In addition, I can hear when people use the restroom, close and open cabinets, etc. I give myself one more year before I'm gone. It's a little ridiculous how much I hear.

Nearly the same for me, my neighbours apartment is the same like mine, just mirrored. The wall between us is about 8cm thin! Although I keep running my computer with its loud fan, so I don't hear every noise. Except the farts and his singing. Sometimes I also hear the person above me using the toilet

Ah. When I first saw this thread, the first thought that came to my mind was "Isn't he deaf? If so, then those neighbors must be REALLY fucking loud!"

Now it makes more sense.

And honestly, as long as you aren't having orgies every night, I think your neighbors should be able to tolerate the occasional evening of good old-fashioned fucking. Worrying about the noise just takes the fun out of sex.
