Wanted to feel all nostalgic-depressed by listening to the soundtrack of that cartoon series, but the CD won't play with my DVD burner as it has a DVD menu on track 1, even though it did before years ago *%%*

After a few times of opening and closing the tray, Windows finally recognizes the CD, but now I only get the badly encoded short tracks of the DVD menu and not the proper audio tracks

Do you feel that somehow dvd's aren't all they're cracked up to be?

I love that show too - they recently released it on DVD and I got me a copy - really really nostalgic - the animation wasn't crash hot but it was a a wonderful story with some excellent characters.

They just don't make them like that anymore.... except for "Avatar: The Last Airbender"

Yeah, but when I realized it I both felt too lazy and really didn't consider you would be so stupid as to feel puzzled

Sloppy writing means sloppy thinking, but I can answer your question without even knowing what you actually asked.
It´s immaterial whether it was Ribbon No Kishi or MCoG that made me lose my mind.

Think about it.
Having lost my mind would mean I would have had one in the first place.
Now kindly stop hijacking Paws´s thread.

Which doesn't mean that you would have had anything to do with having been lent a mind for a while... think about that.

What for? Let it sink in the second page of HT when I'm granting it 24 more hours of life?

And it's not a DVD, it's a CD with the whole soundtrack. When you insert it into a Windows computer, track 1 and 2 show a DVD/VCD menu. If you put the CD into a CD player, it doesn't play the first two tracks.

Sounds incredibly useful... (o)
