OK, these posts about the gyms I went to while I was in Portland on business can't go on forever, so I'll try to speed things up and only talk about the highlights.

Well, I didn't pay much attention to them after that. When I was done with my cardio, I went downstairs to the locker room to strip and shower up. After getting naked I walk to the showers and after I hang my towel on the hooks at the entrance to the shower room, I notice that those two guys are right behind me. The darker guy hangs his towel next to mine and takes a shower across from me. As I turn towards my shower, I notice his friend is still wearing his shorts. Now things get interesting. I can just imagine what he was thinking: Does he shower? Should I shower? How naked should I get? Will it be akward? . If a guy has absolutely no experience with showering at the gym, I don't blame him for maybe not knowing what most other guys do. What is the proper etiquette? Probably better to be overly modest at first, just so you don't seem too naked. I can totally understand this. The first full year of working out, I was somewhat modest. Even though I showered (and it was a completely open, communal shower) I always covered up walking to the shower and tried to minimize the time I was naked in the locker room. I just was afraid of what the other guys would think of me if I were overly naked.
Anyway, he had a nice torso and his chest was covered with thick, dark chest hair (always a plus in my book!) He took the shower next to me and after a minute or so, I saw him take off his shorts (the showers have translucent dividers between them, but no curtains or doors, so you have a great view of all the guys opposite you. Also the dividers seemed more see-thru then the dividers at my gym at home) His friend, who was opposite me, also had a hairy body. He had chest hair, but not as much as his buddy. Overall they weren't as hot as the guys at the other gym, and had a greater age range, but the overall attractiveness level was high. The locker room wasn't very big, with the sinks off to one side and the shower area off the lockers in the middle. I had picked a locker near the showers, which was also near the towell area. I stripped, grabed a towel, and only had to walk a few feet to the shower. Now the super sports always or mostly (more about this later) have private showers with doors. Not this one. The shower room consisted of 8 showers, 4 on each wall facing each other, with translucent partitions between them, but no doors or curtains. There was one private shower, with a curtain, at the end, and towel hooks on the end wall and near the entrance. The set-up was almost identical to my gym at home, with one exception: the shower stalls were much wider, giving more room to each guy, which also meant they were much more open. They were so wide, and with no doors or curtains, when you were in your shower you had a complete view of all the guys opposite you. Why did they even bother with the partitions? Anyway, there was a guy with very short, almost cropped/shaved light brown/blond hair opposite me. He looked like he was in his late 20's. Very good looking. Tall and lean, with nice definition. He had a very hairy chest with a nice thick bush and nice cut cock, slightly bigger than average. Oh, and did I mention he was very fair skinned? He finishes up, exits the shower naked, to be replaced with the young guy I saw doing cardio with very hairy legs. This guy had an even hotter body when you saw him naked. To sum up my locker room experiences in Portland so far, I can make a few statements: Portland men are uniformly much paler than southern California men. This is understandable based on their weather. Portland is also much whiter than where I live. I was somewhat surprised by this, since it's a big city, and although it has a much higher African-American population than my neck of the woods, it seemed to have few Asians or Latinos. The guys at the gym were probably 90% white. Portland men also seem to have more body hair than the guys down in southern California. Although there are plenty of hairy guys in the gyms down here, there seemed to be more in Portland, and the hairy guys in Portland were REALLY HAIRY! Even the young guys. I had not seen so many dark thick bushes in one locker room in a long time. I really like hairy guys, and have a special thing for thick, dark bushes. Lately, even before my Portland trip, I've developed a thing for pale guys. So to see so many, pale, hairy, hot men in Portland was a real turn-on. Especially to see them naked!!
