Absolutely there was nude swimming in high school and college in the 1960s. It was totally normal and no one thought anything about it. 1964 at Penn State a line of nude guys waiting to take the Freshmen swim test which was mandatory. 1968 into the 1970s men's swimming time nude at the pool University of Pennsylvania. All boys prep school 1960 -1964 in Princeton, NJ. Nude swimming all the time in the pool. Swim team practiced nude at 7 am daily in an unheated pool. Speedos worn at swim competitions. Why was all this a big deal. I see guys in the gym now changing under a towel. Can't relate to it
