Name your favorite ice-cream

Ranch does NOT go well with everything. Ranch is quite disgusting. My stomach turns at the smell of it. It drowns the flavor of everything it touches as it is a product of chemistry, not cooking.

My favorite ice cream flavor is pistacchio, but I would much prefer mango sorbet.

Considering how every ice cream has a million sweets combined, something a bit more bitter and chalky would be a nice change of pace.

Chalky is not a good flavor. You should try a nice pana cotta or gelatto. They're not usually super-saturated with sugar. My lovely pistaccio ice cream isn't too sweet either.

No, I hate bacon Too salty, too greasy, too cruncy. I love spam, though, does that count? And I absolutely love breakfast sausage, a bit greasy but soooo juicy! Sausage mcmuffins? .... drool....

Almost always, when I have a favorite flavor of ice cream, it "goes away" within a few months or years.

Most recently, GODIVA Belgian Dark Chocolate was my favorite ice cream flavor in AT LEAST 18 to 20 years, of not in my entire lifetime. Godiva no longer makes ice cream. It was one of those rare ice creams which was NOT too sweet for my taste.

Currently, I have two favorite flavors:

Baskin & Robbins "Gold Medal Ribbon" (vanilla, caramel and chocolate mix)

Haagen-Dazs "Caramel Cone" (vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and pieces of sugar come coated in chocolate)

Breyer's used to have great flavors, until they added all that horrible crap like guar gum, now there's nothing of theirs I like much...

if you liked godive, you may want to try green & black's. it's pretty damn good, and it tastes more chocolatey than most other ice creams without being sickeningly sweet.

Häagen-Dazs® "Cookies & Cream" has been my absolute favorite for a loOong time ago!
I also love their famous "Praline & Cream", pure extasy.

Lately I have also something for the "Cookie Dough" from Ben & Jerry's. Looks like I'm a cookie guy. ^^
