Nascar 2010

I never complain about Fontana cuz I know in advance it's gonna be a bore. But Vegas is usually so fun. Not todayyyyyy.
 
I didn't think the Vegas race was actually that bad, I hated the outcome though. On to Atlanta and then finally Bristol
 
Junior finishing 15th ain't so bad considering what all the Hendrick cars were today.

And once again JJ slides through the wrecks like a little eel. :grrr:
 
Yeah I think it was Harvick that said Johnson had a golden horseshoe stuck up his you know what....anyway I thought the outcome sucked but that was a GREAT race for a 1.5 mile track. Goodyear always manages to find ways to screw certain teams a couple times a year and today it was the Hendrick cars.

Looking forward to Bristol and Martinsville, 2 of my favorite tracks next
 
Goodyear was like "Not our fault. It's up to the teams to figure out how the tires work."

I didn't realize they needed to figure out tires like a jigsaw puzzle in order to race at Atlanta. The Hendrick engineers were all like "Ummm, wtf we don't know what the problem is..." today. It's not like their n00bs. ](*,)
 
The Nascar guys are in Bristol this weekedn. Any predictions on who is gonna take the checkers? Is Keselowski gonna get his revenge on Carl Edwards? I say that Carl ends up wrecked and Mark Martin wins. Hopefully Junior will be in the top 10.....
 
I'll predict a win by Harvick with Kurt Busch in second

Headed back tomorrow for the Cup race.

I wanted to go to the race (I live in KY) but I couldn't since I've been on vacation all week. We listened to the Nationwide race in the car ride home and I kept telling my dad about how I really felt like Allgaier was gonna win this weekend and look what happened! SO HAPPY!
 
Well, well, well.

That was certainly interesting. Hated to see Mark taken out like that. I was pulling for him. Was also pulling for Stewart and Johnson.

It's remarkable to me how many people raise their beers (which I find offensive, actually), to Junior. I'm not sure why people like him. I think he sucks hind tit. Except for today. That was pretty impressive, as bad as he was at the start. They probably just like him because of his Dad. Welp. News flash! He's not his Dad. He's his own person, and that's why people should like him.
Okay. Rant over.

Moving on. During introductions, they drove the drivers around and Jimmie was in his own truck, and as he came by my seat, he was standing with his crotch pushed up against the back windshield of the truck, and his suit defined his "back bumper" nicely. lol. I'm such a freak.

I miss it already. I love going to the races, being around other fans. Watching a bunch of hot guys go real fast and get all sweaty.
lol. Damn. I wanna work for NASCAR.

What's next week? Martinsville? Been there too.
Going to Darlington next month, I think. Then Charlotte for the Coke 600.
 
Another good race but Johnson steals the win again...I'm happy Jr. ran well. SDR I am a Jr. fan but Im with you in that a large part of his fanbase can be obnoxious and embarrassing. Anyway I've been a fan since he started racing in the Busch series and stuck with him through the rough times too.

I am torn on what to do next week, could go to Martinsville but think I will stay here in Charlotte and go to the NHRA drag races (they are racing 4 wide, should be awesome!)
