Paul made a mistake and he paid the price. Had he been a regular student at Nebraska, the fact that he jacked for cash would have been a non-issue. But since he was a student athlete representing the university, much more was expected of him.

I don't blame Paul for what he did. And I don't blame the school for what they did either. Maybe the situation could have been handled better, but in the end, the best thing for both parties was to seperate themselves from each other.

I am really happy for Paul's current success, and I hope he recaptures the national championship.

Yea I dont think he was wrongfully punished. I think if he did straight porn he would have been punished as well. Like someone else said student athletes kinda hav ea different standard because generally they get a free or much cheaper education and have to represent the school.

Physically I dont think he is that attractive. Especially after reading he is 5' 5" and 125 lbs.

Every school has regulations and rules for their student athletes - sometimes they are simply determined by the school but most times they are established by the conference in which they compete. I don't see it as a gay/straight thing though and I honestly believe that they might not have been able to punish him had the photo shoot not identified him as a current college wrestler (the university tattoo on his thigh didn't help).

Once his status as a student athlete was exposed the school exercised the rule applying to his using his position as a college wrestler for his own personal financial gain - they could, and likely would, have done the exact same thing had he allowed a Starbucks or McDonalds to use his photo identifying him as a UN wrestling champion to promote their product and paid him for it.

I appreciate what he did and believe he should have had the right to do it but that the site using the photos should have avoided pointing to his college wrestling. He might not have realized that he put his scholarship at risk because he never actually said what school he was attending so hopefully others will learn from his experience.

Personally I think he's super hot and couldn't care less how tall he is or how much he weighs. There is just something clean cut, clear eyed and healthy about him that I find very attractive.

You are implying that what Paul did - solo j/o- is gay porn as opposed to straight porn. There was neither another male nor female presence in the video, so why should it be classified as one way or the other?
Fratmen's consumer mainly might be gay men, but who knows if women aren't also masturbating to Paul's solo vid.

You said it yourself, filipbong, fratmen's consumers are mainly (overwhelmingly actually) gay men. So guess what that means?

Paul Donahoe just lost to Troy Nickerson (2-1 OT) in the 125# wrestling National Championship title match.

Tied at 1-1 at the end of regulation and sudden death period, Donahoe was penalized for clasping his hands together in the first overtime, a technical violation. Nickerson was awarded a point, making the score 2-1. Donahoe could not overcome this difference in the second overtime period and lost the match.

Congrats to Paul just the same. He has had an outstanding college wrestling career.

Technically I guess it would be more accurate to say that Paul did solo sex for a gay oriented website. It's all a matter of marketing. I would find it highly unlikely that FratmenTV advertizes or promotes its website in other than gay media or with links from other gay sites. Doubtful that FratmenTV would turn away a female subscriber but doubtful that more than 1 or 2 percent of their subscribers are female. Kind of a like a bar at caters to gays is self identified as a gay bar yet it is not unusual to have a small number of straight customers. Simon Rex took a real beating after he began to build his career and a previous solo video surfaced - to think for one minute that masturbation is gay exclusive would be as foolish as believing that doing a stroke video because you need the money ($4K+ in this case) would make you gay just because it ended up on a gay oriented website.

He is indeed a champion. To place in the top three, three years in a row is an awesome accomplishment. The way he has faced the controversy about his Fratmen shoot makes me admire him all the more. What grace and courage and I wish him all the best. I expect to see him at the Olympics next.
