Nash from Fratmen

Re: Nash Live at Fratmen - what happened?

Paul is indeed being featured on the ESPN show "Outside the Lines" that was originally postponed from early May and is currently scheduled to air June 14th. He feels (and I agree) that it would be better to postpone his return Fratmen.TV LIVE! show until after the ESPN story airs to see how it all plays out.

Anyone who purchased a membership for the sole purpose of seeing Fratmen Nash's show and isn't interested in any of the other content on the site, will be issued a refund by simply emailing help@fratmen.tv ATTN: HMJohn and asking for one.

Stay tuned ...

HostmasterJohn

Nash is a hot guy,but anyone who says they arent interested in any of the "other "content fratmen has to offer is nuts....frat pad is always loaded with hot guys!!!

Re: Nash Live at Fratmen - what happened?

I agree with Hostmaster John.

Good things happen to those who wait....

and have anybody seen the latest update Fratmen Carlton? hmmmm could it be Fratmen Cole younger brother?

I wouldnt ask for a refund when you got tons of guys to *|*nightly shows every night, and a hostmaster that twitters and have days where he takes members feedbacks on a live broadcast...

When the last time you talk to Sean Cody or Corbin?

I salute you HMJ.....

Re: Nash Live at Fratmen - what happened?

Fratman Carlton is my kind of guy. A real hottie. In fact, there's very few of the guys I haven't liked.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

... it sounds bizarre...

Nothing personal to the Fratmen guys, but I'm kinda hoping Paul decides to take a pass and continues with his London, 2012 aspirations.

In a Corbin Fisher video this past summer 'Dawson', another gifted athlete, was talking about how he followed the Olympic track events avidly. I sensed a little bit of regret: perhaps had his life taken a different turn he may have been competing himself. I'm sure he's making lots of money being 'Dawson', but there's something about just being in the Olympics.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

Phunk, I agree except for one thing. How will appearing on FratmenTV prevent him from appearing in the Olympics?

It could just make it a little more difficult. It could also interfere with future coaching positions. I don't think it's in Paul's interest to turn this into a civil rights case.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

I'm not making any generalizations about people who work in the adult industry. Rather, I'm thinking of Paul Donahoe in particular. As for his aspirations, all I know what I've read; and everything I've read about him tells me he's this focused, driven guy who, like all excessively focused people neglects the greater world and has lapses in judgment. Fratmen was a lapse in judgment: it was naive of him to think that no one would find out. His story -- the beat-up junk heap of a car, the thread-bare clothes, living hand to mouth for the sport that got him out of his broken family and dead-end town -- is very moving. He's already had a pretty remarkable life. He's got a lot of pluck. He seemed very focused on going to the Olympics.

All that said, I think he has a good head on his shoulders. I think he's an academic All American.

As hypothetical potential employers, obviously neither you nor I would give a rat's ass about whether he did soft-core gay porn. However for a college looking for a wrestling coach, a background in porn would probably be a deal breaker. I don't see the world changing in that regard anytime soon.

Nah, I think Paul should get his degree, continue to train like hell, work as an assistant coach somewhere, and just go for it. Maybe they'll let him stay on in Edinboro -- they seem to like him, and it has a great wrestling program. Be great to see him on the podium and hear the Star Spangled Banner.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

It never ceases to amaze me, how people like to put a spin on these guys. Paul comes from the same state that I live in. He didn't live in a dead end town. Unless your definition of a dead end town is anywhere in the rust belt area. What drama some would like Paul's story to be. Paul came from a broken marriage family. So has 50% of most kids. Paul has never regretted nor apologized for his appearance on FratmenTV. To compare Paul to Dawson, is like comparing apples to oranges. Dawson chose to throw away his college and athletic opportunities to become a "Porn Star". Paul went to college and DID get his degree.

Paul has stayed in touch with John from FratmenTV/Fratpad. He is going to appear on ESPN to do a story in June. Whether Paul returns to FratmenTV/Fratpad is still in discussions. Has he thrown is future career opportunities away because of his appearance on the site mentioned? I hardly doubt it. It didn't stop another college from gladly accepting him to continue his education and his wrestling career. Where he once again gained success.

Some might like to think that if a guy appears on FratmenTV/Fratpad it's an end to there future careers. The difference for these guys who appear here from other sites are they talk with us, the members. Where they talk and interact with us and we get to know things about them, unlike other sites where they appear as just a piece of meat. And you never get to know them.

I know three current FratmenTV/Fratpad members while appearing on the sites, who also are either going to college, or are pursuing a successful career.

One guy is studying to become a Dr. of Optometry. He will be taking a summer course in Biology, while working at the Fratpad. While another just got his degree in culinery arts, from one of the most prestigous colleges in the country. At this time he's continuing to get another degree in Business Management, with aspirations of owning a fitness center and restaurant that emphazises healthy food. Another has an active successful career in modeling. Where he's done work for Banana Republic, Calvin Klein to mention a few, plus has done numerous photoshoots for Men's Health, Excercise for Men and other like magazines.

If Paul decides to enter the Olympics for 2012 is up to him. But he's gotten his degree, and whatever course his career path takes him, I'm sure he'll be successful. Who knows what he wants to do with his future. That's up for to him to decide, not us.

The two guys I mentioned in college, have said on air, the money they make helps them with tuition, books, and other things that otherwise they wouldn't of had the opportunity. And the guy in modeling, will do no nude modeling, he has clearly said so during appearances on FratmenTV/Fratpad, and in Bios that I've read. He also has said because of his success in modeling, the companies he works with pays all his expenses. So you might ask, then why does he appear on FratmenTV/Fratpad, because he enjoys what he's doing, makes some extra money in the process, AND he's just a great guy, and I'm glad to say he's become a good cyberspace friend.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

So my question is -- what about all of the other guys on fratmen? Did they too have lapses of judgment? Do they stand to lose as much as Paul with whatever career they might want to pursue? Some of the guys, if not all, might want to pursue careers much more lucrative than college coaching staff. I'm just wondering if you think it's improper for all of the guys to work with fratmen or just Paul. . .

Nebraska could have said that Paul was disciplined internally -- and his wrestling career moves forward with little interruption.

I have no idea what the other Fratmen's backgrounds are like, so therefore no idea of what they stand to lose by a porn career. My guess is that most of them are guys who barely graduated from high school (if that), maybe take some classes at the local community college, have some kind of MacJob, fuck lots of chicks, and spend an awful lot of time at the gym, +/- 'supplements'. Which is to say that they don't have much to lose. Paul Donahoe, on the other hand, is a highly accomplished athlete in a sport that demands dedication. Far from being a muscle-head at Golds, his athletic good looks come from a lifetime of intense training and discipline. Maybe some of the other guys have similar stories, but something tells me most don't.

Quite honestly, I think most high profile collegiate wrestling programs would have handled the Paul and Kenny incident similarly. Homoeroticism and frank homosexuality are the 'dirty laundry' of wrestling, the 500 lb pink elephant on the corner of the mat that nobody wants to acknowledge. It may be wrong, but it's another thing I don't see changing anytime soon.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

Okay spill it. What is your tie to collegiate wrestling? This incident seems to be hitting close to home.

It's pretty common knowledge. Very high incidence of homo/bisexuals. Perhaps something about that close body contact in the setting of spiking adolescent testosterone levels seems to predispose . . .

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

The background of Olympians are greatly scrutinized after all they are representatives of the United States. If they have porn in their background it will surely impair there chances.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

If gay wrestlers are common knowledge, why is everyone involved in the sport still so uptight?

Probably for the same reason the Church and the Military are uptight about it: giving away the secret.

1Do all the wrestlers know which among them are gay but don't want to be stereotyped themselves?

Couldn't tell you, but I suspect just like Marines know which of their brothers swings that way (and don't mind), so I imagine if you're around the sport you really get a feel for it. know several gay guys who wrestled.

1I'm asking because I still suspect you have a tie to wrestling -- which you didn't answer before! Did you used to wrestle?

high school, not college. too much of a commitment.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

bref/anyhow...when will Paul show up eventually on the site????

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

Here's a thought to the site owners... have concrete plans before you advertise the event on the site and all over the internet. It comes off as really amateurish when you have to reschedule a show at the last minute because of "technical issues" or simply a change of mind.

Refunding membership fees is one thing, but I doubt most people who fell for the deceit would know about that offer unless it was directly stated on the Fratmen website directly rather than on a JUB post.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

i think these guys should do what they want to do ....with out other ppl sticking there nose in other ppl business.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

So... any updates on when/if Paul will be performing LIVE at fratmen.tv?

Also, I'm curious about the cam scheduling process at fratmen and fratpad. Is it done day-by-day? Weekly?

I noticed that there is a schedule posted each day, but do members have an extended schedule available to them? Or do they have to wait each day to see which performers will be online and at what time?

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

Yeah.

HostmasterJohn, if you read this, it might be nice for nonmembers to see the weekly schedule.

Re: Fratmen Nash on Fratmen TV live 5/13.

I thought HostmasterJohn said during his Wednesday Fratpad chat that Nash needed a few more weeks to finish up with classes and then decisions would be made.
Sounds like more excuses. Nash already graduated. Also, it's summer for colleges.
