Kween of Hot Topics
I know yall are tired of my big mouth, I'm caving in to a few friends and acquaintances who have encouraged me to start a podcast/youtube channel to share my thoughts on politics and social issues. Obvs the meat and potatoes are gonna be race and sexuality but I'm an American which means I have opinions on EVERYTHING.
What kind of topics do you think need attention or black LGBT perspective?
I'm putting together some materials and a list of topics I wanna cover, here's what I've got so far:
-the male casting couch in hollywood (especially in rap and r&b)
-downlow men trauma-bonding over their hatred for women
-polite racism on the left vs violent racism on the right
-reparations and how they will benefit all communities and make everyone safer and more prosperous
-prison reform/police brutality/mass incarceration
-theory: black America would look like Wakanda today if we spent the last century building schools and hospitals instead of churches, strip clubs and sports arenas
-how corporal punishment rolled out the red carpet for domestic violence: the generation raised on "I'm only hitting you cuz I love you" now knows no other way to express or receive love
-what we can learn from drill rap
-heterosexual privilege
-children of sex abuse are merely props for homophobic politics
-how white privilege harms white people
-why white people are scared to discuss race
-LEGALIZE IT!
-why we need universal healthcare, like, yesterday
-generational vanity distorts and confuses social issues and politics
-the impact of the 1% on the environment
-the violence backdrop of american sports
-precolonial LGBT history in brown cultures
-do the elder gays resent the new generation for having more freedom of expression?
-the sabotage of black America's recovery from chattel slavery in the 18- and 1900s
-what gay men and straight men can learn from each other about consent
-legacy vs reality: bob marley was a wifebeater and MLK was a philanderer
-are fan-pages for people like R Kelly covert predator rings?
-racist trolling and rage-farming on social media: a one-way street
-the world doesn't end after the atlantic ocean, history and current events outside the US

not funny that she's probably hurt but funny that he's been giving advice and clearly not walking the walk.
