Netflix It

I joined Netflix a couple months ago, and got the Blu-ray option. There's still not a whole lot of Blu-ray selection out there, the industry has been slow converting titles to Blu-ray. I find my queue keep getting smaller and smaller. After I watched most of the movies I missed and always wanted to watch, there's not much else I want to watch. And new releases always have a horrendous waiting list. I'll probably eventually change my 2 at a time plan to the 1 at a time plan. Or just quit altogether and rejoin in a couple years to play catch up again, and after the Blu-ray selection improves.

You can watch Netflix movies online direct from their site, for an additional charge per month.
That is if you are lucky to find a title that as online streaming available. It is extremely limited. And the charge is not extra. It's included with all their unlimited plans.

Star Trek all the motion pictures ;)
actually, skip 1 and 2, do 3 through 7, rent generations and first contact... so far, I have yet to enjoy any of the newer star trek movies

oh, and if you want to be a nerd like me, you can watch Xena on the instant player..... ahhh, Xena

SKIP STAR TREK II??? May Khan's wrath be the end of you.
honestly, I hated 1, and I have to be in the right mood for 2... yes, the wrath of Khan is good, but sometimes it really just seems like a very long intro to 3

*ducks as the other trekkies attempt to slay me*

If anyone is interested here's my current DVD list (movies I own):

lol, it's a good list.

I'm always tickled to see someone else with a big collection. My boyfriend and I are movie addicts too. So much so that we've built a theater on the first floor of our house. It's been a couple years (the time span of the remodel) since I even counted, but last time I did the number was around 3000 -- and more come in the mail every damn day. Needless to say, storage is a bitch. We don't rent anything anymore because when we did, being lazy and irresponsible bastards, we'd always put off returning them until the late charges exceeded the cost of buying it. So now, if something looks at all interesting, we just buy it.

Anyway, just wanted to give a nod to a fellow film hoarder. ..|:=D:

(p.s. I'm betting the multiple entries of a single title are instances of "double dipping" - original release, extended version, director's cut, new transfer, etc., yes?)
