I never been with a man how do you know what I am a bottom or a top?

Also if I were to bottom, what do I need to do to prepare for first time?
 
You would know when you actually hook up with someone. You could be versatile too.

Make sure you shit then wash/clean out your asshole before sex.
Make sure you use lots of lube.
Make sure you tell him to go slow.
 
Topness/bottomness is a little like sexuality - some people know what they are when they're young or have little experience; others need some experience before they know for sure; and lots of us may find our preferences fluid.

I, for example, took a while before I got to enjoy bottoming. I generally preferred topping at first, but eventually I came to enjoy both and now consider myself versatile.

Don't expect your first time bottoming to be too much fun. It takes some practice and mental work in order for it to become an enjoyable experience. It also really helps if your sex partner knows you're new and takes it nice and slow.
