Jesus, after hearing that new Adam Lambert atrocity, I've decided that "Metal Machine Music" is one of the best albums in history.

Well, it's no "Having Fun With Elvis on Stage"...
A lot of this music ends up being like...I dunno. Like hastily constructed sets for a local theater. I see the backdrop and the props and all that, and I recognize that it's supposed to be a kitchen. But it's done in such a haphazard fashion that I never actually FEEL it's a kitchen. I see the paint lines and the fake fridge and counters, and so I never actually get INTO it. But a lot of other people either don't notice or don't care that they notice, and get into it just fine. More power to them, I guess, but I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask for a little more.

Looking at the video camera the guy has at the outset of the video, I wondered.
