Moving day
All done, started about 5pm when mum came with the car, took 3 trips and approx 90 minutes to move everything I own from one side of town to the other (now the really hard part...un-packing all this crap! where did all this stuff come from? I don't remember buying it all)
Now, hopefully, third times the charm! my new landlord doesn't drink so I am no longer living with a borderline alcoholic, and its a house with a nice "live in" feeling to it so no anally retentive neat freakness and no one keeping count of how many times in one week I vaccuum or do laundry.
oh and a dog and a cat, I missed having pets around, its nice to have a little cat curled up on my bed while I watch TV (which is now very basic so I am sat watching a documentary on Ethiopia..woo)
This definitely used to be a boys room, has that unmistakable "male" smell to it hehe too cold to keep windows open so need to buy some air freshener tomorow.
still have that weird "this isn't my home" feeling which I am hoping will go soon, and hopefully I wont leave work on tuesday and walk back to the wrong house lol
gonna be reeeeaally weird waking up tomorrow but my landlady has taken the day off tomorrow to show me around etc...so should feel like home soon enough
fingers crossed and good luck to me
hehehe
