Can we please have a new forum for Congragulations / Birthday threads. This has been getting prety annoying having so many (Joe reaches 1000 posts, and Happy Birthday Steve) posts taking up the first few pages of HOT TOPICS. It's really not a hot topic, and should be put in a different location. We have so many forums already, what would hurt making one more.
 
I do not think they are annoying, but I do agree a forum for them would be a good idea!
 
So what's the problem? You can't help but to read everyone? :p

To me it's like being at a party and someone yells out, "I would like to propose a toast!"

Keep 'em in HOT TOPICS, there are enough forums already.

i dont see the big deal, but i also dont see why a subforum would hurt.

maybe we can make a subforum for serious threads only .... call it the no fun zone ;)

Slowly but surely... this place is becoming less and less fun. The Blue Meanies have taken sway here much like the Religious Right has America. And if it keeps up this place will end up a swamp of unhappy gay folk.

I say NO! No sub-forum. Nothing. If anyone here is unhappy to see a thread where others are having some fun, move on. Find something else to read. This place is chock full of threads and naughty pictures. Surely there is something here that will be of interest.

Your so mean, your like a Cyber Nazi........ let me get this straight... so its your way or the hi-way huh? I didn't like when the political forum was made because I actually considered most of those dicussions "hot topics" but I went with the flow. No one seemed to be too upset either when all the "pic requests" were moved off the "hot topics" pages either.

I dont think anyone is willing to believe that fracturing the forums any further is that good of an idea and alot of folks just dont care about the congrats threads

I think the better idea would be to ask the admins if its posible to have a show new post forum that will include the forums you read instead of all of them.

or

we could all just skip the threads we dont like
 
It wouldn't solve the problem as they would still fill the new post screen as they do now. Personally reading congratulations 23543678346 times isn't my idea of a good time.
 
Ok you know what, don't pay attention to my suggestion its not my website anyway. Anyting to keep people from crying. I started it by suggesting it, so I'll finish it. No prob let it go. Exuces me as I go wirte a congragulats thread for myself for making 358 posts...........WHOOOOOOOO! LoL

I don't see it as my way or the highway. I just think that we've been over run by a whole bunch of unrest, derision and animosity. Why? Because there are those here who take umbrage with those who post for the sake of having fun. What's the big deal? You already have Mods here who move things accordingly. Where's the harm? This place is supposed to be fun! It's a Gay Entertainment Forum! Not the McLaughlin Group.

and lets face it, what is in favor today will be different tomorrow or next week

you know i really don't ever think about where the birthday's or the congrat threads are. i wouldn't mind them being in the fun and games forum, although it would mean i'd have to go there...and i don't think i ever have ;)

i don't mind them being in hot topics either cause i think as soon as you move them the number of folks who post in them will drop. it's like in the freshman forum, "hello" threads. there are like 10 folks who say hello to the new people. but when someone new posts in hot topics they might get 30 replies. it's not people being mean and not saying hi (when they are in the other forum) it's just people don't go there and look.
