Hey guys , first post I don't know exactly what to put but im gay , but trapped in the closet (for the time being) I enjoy reading in this site alot .Is good to see and find people who are going through what I'm going through and dealing with things I went through.If i can quote about what being part of this community is; this "We have one of the toughest battles in life , finding out who we are and learning to love ourselves for being imperfect in the politicly correct world, there is not a day when I think maybe it would be easier if i wasnt gay , but you know what life is a trip and you get the set of cards God gives you is your job to play them well and enjoy it. Something that almost all gay people I've met share is that open minded attitude. is refreshing in a world where everyone thinks inside the box" Well thats it thanks

Hey Gooey, I know that being gay sometimes seems like a struggle, but trust me it's also ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AMAZING! I wouldn't switch for anything.

Soilwork's right, you just have to learn to be happy. It's not always easy, but the don't despair there's a large, interesting, diverse community here to talk to. The world is usually friendlier and more accepting than you think it's going to be, so try to be yourself and have a little fun.
 
Dam just a few minutes and already i feel all warm inside thanks for the comments. I dont regret it or feel I should be straight. Is just im not in the stage where i can come out yet. But pretty soon my mom is leaving the country Im gonna be on my own im dropping all my fake friends and starting to experiment more and more.Im an analyst I love finding out how people's minds work. I've met so many guys who are gay and hide it completely, people have come out to me and I've been able to be there for them I wish that the time when I am able to breathe freely and be complete would be here sooner than I'm expecting. Well anyway thanks for the reply very encouraging.
 
hi gooey BIENVENIDO to our world. i would not change my sexuality - because if i did i would not be who i am. you are right in that we are beset by hatred and contempt - but i think we are special people - the best in the world .be proud you are gay. hope we'll see lots of opinions from you

Don't think "it would be easier if I weren't gay", think "it would be easier if I were out" and focus on attaining that goal. You will find that there is a whole world out there willing to support and help you. You just have to take a step in that direction. The longer you wait, the higher that little hill is going to become. If you don't start climbing it now, it will become a mountain. But even if you DO wait till it becomes a mountain, once you get over the top you will be amazed at how quickly you can put "that moment" behind you and enjoy your life freely; either with your own family (which might suprise you--like mine did) or the one who is waiting to accept you AS YOU ARE!!! Now COME JOIN US as soon as you can!

Life sometimes would be better if you could change something. But I try to focus on the stuff that makes like good until I can change what needs changing. Sometimes it takes a while and a lot of wheel power and self courage, but i'm sure you'll get there.
