So. How many of you are going to rush out and get the new Ipods? I think this was more hype than anything else.

The Ipod has definitely taken over the industry, but I am probably the only one who still does not have one.

Shit, I still don't have an old iPod. Why would I buy a new one?

I'm sorry, but I spent too damn much money on my CDs; I'm gonna get some use out of them, dammit!

I've owned an ipod for years and am very satisfied with it. I don't see the need for a new one unless there are some major innovative additions to it.

I have the first iPod! It is time to get one of the new Nanos....need to decide on a color however..too many choices.

Well, I've always been a fan of Sony's media players, my Walkman, my CD player and my old mp3 player are all sony. However, my latest media player is a 8G version of iPod Touch. Because I'm really fond of its features and technology within it.

But for me, iPod Classic, iPod Nano and even this new iPod, they all look similar, the only development is that they're getting smaller.

So I guess, I'm gonna keep my iPod Touch for a long time, according to the pics and article, this new one is just smaller, but it doesn't make it cooler than iPod Touch, at least for me.

I used to have a tiny little cube, I think it was called mobiblu, but it suddenly stopped working. Now I'm using my brother's old Creative ZEN and it's just great. Those ipods are too much cash for so much flash IMHO.

Not yet in Asia, I guess, a lot of Asian people still prefer brand like Sony, Sony's media players provide a bigger variety of players' looks than Apple, and as I've been using Sony for a long time and now own an iPod Touch, I believe the sound quality of Sony's players is better.

Apple's only vital card is its technology. Nevertheless, in country like China, the nationality of the brand itself also plays an important role in the sale of iPods.

Fuck the iPods, fuck the iPhones, I'm fine with just a Macbook

I love my little Creative Zen; music, pics, video, and even radio with a built in organizer. The only things I don't like is that screen seems easy to scratch up and the inability to play games, but otherwise it's a pretty nice little media player...

The new iPods look like the old ones.

For my own personal use, the ipod shuffle is far superior to the creative pebble. I only use it for workouts. Even though the pebble has an lcd screen, the shuffle has a built-in clip and is much thinner than the pebble. It's much easier to clip the shuffle to my shirt and not have to worry whether it will fall off during a workout. Since they both have very limited numbers of songs to store, it shouldn't be too difficult to remember what is on it and how to navigate through the songs to get to the one that you really want to hear. But since I only use it during a workout, the music is all basically background noise and I don't really listen intently at the the songs. I bought my shuffle as a refurb a couple years ago. It was a very good $50 investment since I use it frequently.

What earphones are you using? Sound quality of comparable devices should be about the same.

I had the money to get one a couple months ago but then I had to go on trips and stuff. I would love to have one right now considering my old one crashed on me a couple months ago.

I would love to have a new iPod -- a Touch really, but I can't justify it because my old keeps on working. It's Apple's own damn fault for making them last so well.

DAMN YOU APPLE.

They gave iPod Touch genuis function :/

Both by firmware update and new models.

And also I saw pictures leaked of the iPod Nanos.

It showed wally on it.

BUt yeah they are using the iPhone/iPod Touch interface now.

Good.

It=Win

I like the screen alot better too. The last iPod nano has nice better screen then fat one.

But this is more of a widescreen experience which apple is obsessing over.

It looks cool though.

I haven't watched the keynote yet.

I will watch that later.

Love watching those.

I WANNA LEARN ABOUT SNOW LEOPARD DARNIT

my zen is great.

and I hate itunes with a burning passion :D

I do as well.

I hate it so much.

I like rhapsody better.

But I need it because iPod and iPhones demand it. I don't burn music with it though or buy songs from it.

I use it for the music library. And i get applications from there. Video rentals as well. Love the 99 cent video rentals.

THIS WEEK IT'S THE KARATE KID.

HELLYEAH!
