New JUB Rule #431a

. . .Any member who starts a "Goodbye" or "I'm leaving" thread, and/or writes something that could be read in the same vein in their blog, will receive an instantaneous, lifetime ban.

All in favor, say Aye.

My answer depends on whether I like the JUBBER who is "depledging."

I actually find those kinds of threads very helpful in determining someones true personality and whether or not I would waste any time getting to know them.:D

So I say we keep them...|

How is it useful to decide you will get to know them if they are leaving?

BOT: I don't mind a blog entry saying the person is going to be gone for however long, probably because I did one of those for anyone who might be wondering, but these "I'm leaving. Who loves me?" threads are indeed ridiculous.

More ridiculous, of course, are the people who leave in a big flurry of excitement and hype and OTT "I can't take it anymore/you don't deserve me/it's too much stress* posting in here" and slink back a week/month later.

*For fuck's sake, it's an internet message board. If it's too stressful to post in here, you're not mentally capable of being in here.
