what do y'all think? I think it's catchy as hell....I'm liking what I'm hearing from this new album of hers....though I think this might only be available on her "The Fear" EP and not on the full length album.

Haha. I started laughing to this song when I heard the lyrics. The song is okay for me so I am not that crazy about it at all. I'll have to hear it a couple of times before I say I will actually like it. I wonder how fast the public is going to respond to this song whether its going to take a hike up on the billboard charts. It's awesome that more artists are putting out songs that appeal to the gay community. Katy Perry created her song "I Kissed A Girl" and it flew way up the charts on both pop radio and on digital downloads. I haven't heard any music from Lily Allen in a couple of years. It will be interesting of how this song will play out but I am sure it may be a modest hit.

Sigh, first Katy Perry makes homosexuality a novelty and now Lily Allen follows suit.

I feel this way too, and have steered clear of both of them (well I steered clear of Lily Allen anyway) not to mention I find the word "fag" offensive and don't think that these songs are pro gay. Listening to the lyrics it's like we're some collectible item? It's like, er what?
It will hike to the top of the charts though cos people will find it "funny"

yes but "Run" was a single...there was a video released for it.


but yeah to each his own...In my world I don't use the word Fag at all...I don't like the word...per say...I don't like it when it's used in a hateful way(ie. Hollywood Undead's music) but in this song..it's just a fun song...I don't think it's making homosexuality a big joke...I think it's making the "Will and Grace" type relationships gay men and straight women have into a joke.

I agree. Just like with Katy Perry: The song didn't help gays to gain mainstream acceptance, the public just ate it up because of the popularity of modern "Girls Gone Wild" culture where lesbianism is viewed as nothing more than a means of titillating (no pun intended) straight men.
