Bears New Movie "Bear City"

I wish I had liked it more... I appreciate it for what it is but as a film, it's quite poor :P

Worth watching for the camp (in places) though!
 
I ordered the DVD on amazon quite a while ago.
I was all excited about it, but in the end I don't think it matched my expectations.

It was fun and quite cute in a sex-and-the-city kind of way, but I think there was something missing.

I'd watch it again just for the eye candy =)

So this movie is more of a download than buy then? I can see from the pictures it has one chubby bear amongst the cast, probably for comic relief.
 
not a really good movie, it was good to see something different from the typical gay stereotype though.

Hi GamerBear,

I honestly don't know what was exactly missing, but in the end I felt something more could have been done. I was happy with the ending for all characters, but I kind of hoped the movie went on for a little more, perhaps actually showing what happened to all of them.

As for the chubby bear that is in the cover, he ended up being one of my favorite characters in the movie.

I recommend you to see it, but maybe just renting it for a night would be enough.

One interesting fact that is present in the dvd is the support that the gay community, and particularly the bear community showed when making the movie. It is definitely something to check out in the extras.

I've watched it and it was pretty good for what it was. There was only one character that I really didn't care for. Overall, it was pretty light-hearted. Don't expect anything deep because it's all pretty superficial stuff. I'm pretty sure they didn't have the budget to do something on a deeper level, but I think it was definitely good for laugh.

I was appreciative of the fact that film focused on a dynamic between two of the characters that, in reality, SELDOM really happens. I actually connected with that dynamic as I've been there.
