Already bought the Shins album this year. Not as good as "Chutes too Narrow" but still very good.

Buying the new Arcade Fire album tomorrow.

The new Bright Eyes album is out next month too.

i'm wearing an anberlin shirt right now actually :)
man, i'm so over behind crimson eyes haha
though was never really into them to begin with :P
i'm looking forward to some more circa survive this year

More comment on The Shin's newie "Wincing the Night Away". I agree, not one bad track on it, and I prefer it to "Chutes too narrow".
 
The next few months are going to be very exciting:
Just the other day I picked up Patrick Wolf's new album "The Magic Position" - it's freakin' amazing, I've been listening to it non-stop since I bought it.

check out his video for "Accident and Emergency" - the sound really can't compare to hearing it off the cd, but gives you an idea.

Then on May 1st Tori Amos' "American Doll Posse" is released! Lucky I've got Patrick Wolf to keep me occupied, or else I would've caved to the leaks by now!

And about a week or so later Bjork's new album "Volta" is released - gonna be so hard to give that one attention, even though I'm sure it'll be amazing.

Hopefully we'll get a new Goldfrapp album this year, and also a Sigur Ros album. But they'll be late in the year, if at all.
 
I'm just now getting into Patrick Wolf's stuff...i need to get the whole cd

Well I've been listening to "Chutes too narrow" a lot more, and it's really grown on me.
So I take back what I said in an earlier post. I don't prefer one over the other. Both different, Both excellent.

Modest Mouse im looking foward to. I have not downloaded the leak. I'm waiting it out till release date. Their albums are all really good. Johnny Marr is the iceing on the cake for me for me this time around.

Ooohhh! When are the new Interpol and MIA albums supposed to come out? I've been waiting what seems like ages for them to release new stuff. I'm also looking forward to the new New Pornographers.

I picked up The Fratellis today, and I'm liking it a lot so far..|
 
I don't know if they came out last year or this year but the band is called Paramore. One of my friends turned me onto them and I bought the cd before her and she is jealous. Also another new cd I bought that I think came out last year that is still somewhat popular is The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance

Interpol's album has a release date in June according to some article.Nothings official yet i guess. They have finished working on it and the album is still untitled. I can wait for this release as well. I love Interpol.
