you can delete your account now all on your own

i wonder if the goodbye threads will go away or if people will still have that one last hurrah

some overly dramatic flamers will still have to have one last chance to be center of attention

well it will lighten the work load for the admins during high drama seasons

of course

people couild have just gotten rid of their favorites link to jub and not come back alot more easily, so i still dont see the rellevance

If not for the goodbye threads, we wouldn't know who's having a rough time lately. I tend to remember them and notice how the person is doing after they come back.

Anyhow, I don't think it will stop them. And that's ok. Sometimes people need to scream and shout and get it out of their systems.

I noticed that the other day. Seems like a good idea to me. No reason to waste the time of the admins on something like that.

I've known several who have submitted a ticket to delete their account and then change their mind after they've calmed down. This feature won't give them that chance. I don't like it.

Oh I doubt that.

It would negate the opportunity to go out in a blaze of glory!

I'd rather someone post a goodbye thread and say why they're leaving, rather than leave us with no clue. I hope the jubbers I know, will not leave without saying goodbye. The "dramatic" goodbye threads are also a clue that someone is having problems and needs support. Oh, deleting the account without a moderator seems like a good idea.
