I have posted a few more pics in my gallery. Let me know if you guys like it. I've put on a few pounds in the last few months, i hope to lose them before summer! I'm not sure if I can get the 6-pack I so admire in others. :)

I feel your pain. Its taken me 2 years, but I've finally lost down to where I want to be. I have sweated god knows how many times my body weight to do it.

Now I have to build some muscle up so I don't look like the waif I appear.

You look good! And VERY suckable!:badgrin:

Not everyone likes it, but I lost 100 lbs in 2 years with cardio.

I started at 265 lbs with walking (half mile, semi-brisk), now I'm an avid runner (9 mi a day typically at 7.5 mi/hr--I can do upwards of 16 mi at 8mi/hr, but that leaves me wiped out) and toying with the idea of running a marathon this year. Yesterday I weighed in at 163 lbs. I am a firm believer in short term goals, and use them to build to long term. I didn't look at things like: I need to lose 15 lbs; I'd say, I need to lose 3 lbs this month... Slow and steady is the best method (and safest). Diets suck and never last.

The upside: I can easily eat whatever I want, and have to eat about 3500 kcal a day or I lose weight. I LOVE food! Mexican rocks!

The downside: It is a biotch to put on muscle, so you can end up with a look like mine (thin up top, but muscular legs). Unfortunately the male epitome of "fit" seems to be all about the chest, and mine resembles a 14 year old.

Ideally, if you like cardio you can mix swimming and running. Swimmers have GREAT chests (hubba hubba!) and usually thinner legs. Runners are the opposite. I am just a terrible swimmer. I've had friends refer to it as emergency flailing.

Honestly, I think you look fine! (*8*) I get ragged for being too thin, but I'm hooked on the endorphins now.
