Just hung up the phone, expect an announcement any time now that Ollie is gone
Apparently Saturdays fiasco was the final straw, if you missed Ollie’s performance consider yourself lucky it was awful giving up back to back homers, the first two batters he faced, they were hanging sliders that had hit me out of the park written all over them. I swear as soon as those pitches left Ollie’s hand I thought YIKES that’s going to be bad. Ollie’s departure will be good for Isringhausen I expect him to bump Bobby Parnell from the bullpen's primary setup role. Ike Davis introduced me to his fishing buddy Izzy in Florida and I was impressed by how humble he was saying how this was a new experience for him having to make a team but he feels that it's a good thing cause he can come in and get his work done but mostly how he can concentrate a little bit more when he is out there. Spring training really means something to him this year
So bye bye Ollie we will not miss you. Maybe the Phillies will hire him like they did Castillo. Oh yeah have ya heard, Luis is now in Philadelphia , I guess with Phillies’ second base situation is as shaky as Chase Utley’s knees. So maybe they can replace Utleys knees with Castillo’s wobbly ones.

now I guess if he does well there it will be the Mets who will have drooped the ball
Mookie Wilson wasted no time this morning and has switched to uniform No. 1, Castillo’s old number
I got the iky sicky feeling of watching OIlie pitch by seeing the great job Chris Capuano did in 6 scoreless innings, striking out five without walking a batter. His ERA is now 1.69. As Syam wrote out rotation is looking more stable. Chris Young is also pitching very well. I had the fun of meeting him in Florida.
Saucy I read what you said about Murphy and Evans and appreciate your thoughts As for Nick he knows only too well that every time he hits the field eyes of the scouts are on him. If he can’t make the team and does not make it back if he goes thru wavers the best case for him would be a spot on another team I want only what is best for Nick and being a part of a new team rather than going back to the minors may be just that .
Nick was 2-for-3 Saturday, including a two-run double, and is hitting .288. I thought that double was outta there for sure I stood up and yelled YES! but it did not quite make it out nice hitting thou. Nick can and has played third, played first, both outfield positions
Murph’s situation with Emaus could easily end up a platoon situation at second which would work for me and Murph, there is little doubt in fact I would say no doubt that he will be on the roster in 2011 he is just that valuable with his spring batting average now at .341. He will give Ike a day off today against Atlanta and play first that will give Collins Murph's bat and get another look at Turner who will play second
Sorry Gtru I can not agree with you about SNY I know a lot of those guys and for me they rock
You are wise not to upset me and Saucy however
As for Pagan I hear what you are saying but actually he is a very happy go lucky dude well liked and can be very funny, his seriousness is just when he plays as seen in the video seen below that you mentioned
