I think we are over the worst of Hurricane Gabrielle. Much calmer at the moment due to being near the eye. They're forecasting winds to pick up again but we've seen the worst of the rain.
Good thing you are alright 
Make sure you don't get blown off.

National State of Emergency declared here by Prime Minister Hipkins. Storm has eased where I am but many areas remain flooded, roads down and without power. Wellington further South currently being battered.
