To be honest, the contestant Joe Irvine, isn't that good (although a million times better than I would be) compared to some of the other acts. And in contrast to the admiral way he handled the abuse, he normally cries before and after every performance. So he's a very emotional character. Which made the bullying worse, because he has had mental health issues in the past apparently.
