NFL Playoffs 2012

PLAYOFFS ARE HERE!

Who do you guys got winning this week in the wildcard round?

My picks:

Houston Texans over Cincinnati Bengals
Denver Broncos lose to Pittsburgh Steelers
New Orleans Saints win against Detroit Lions
New York Giants over Atlanta Falcons

Batting 1.000 so far! :=D:
Hope your other two picks are right also. ..|

24-2 Giants win! Should be a good game next week against my boys in Green Bay!

3/4 called correctly!

I'm secretly rooting for Denver just because I hate them less than the Steelers...

29-23 Denver

3/4 ain't bad!

God now we get to hear about Tebow all week

So.... are we talking about American Football here?

On the very few times that I've glanced for a few seconds at this game (on the very few occasions they ever show it over here) I've never been able to make any sense of it. It's just confusing. To my expertly untrained eye, all I see is men running around all over the place crashing into each other.

The popular sport in Britain that's very similar to this is rugby, but I only ever glance at that as well. In rugby's case, all I see is men piled up in a heap on the ground.

Oh well - carry on.

Hmmm...where is Depraved Muscle these days? He might want to revise his assesment of Tim Tebow a little bit.

Now that the Broncos won, I'll have to hear these idiots (in sports media) nurse their bromance with Tim Tebow all damn week.

That jesus freak just won't go away

At least the Denv/Pitt game made this week 1 playoffs interesting. The other games were a bit lame.

The only positive thing about Tebow-mania in Colorado is how often I've gotten to post "Real men go down on one knee and bob their head" on Facebook.

I'm not a Tebow fan, but that overtime pass for the win was simply beautiful!

I am rooting for the Giants to win it all

This weeks picks:

New England Patriots over Denver Broncos (Even IF Teblow has God on his side)
Baltimore Ravens lose to Houston Texans
San Francisco 49ers lose to New Orleans Saints (Even though I want the Niners to win)

and of course

Green Bay Packers over New York Giants

On a slightly off note..anyone see how much of a mess the New York Jets are?

My pick from pre-season (the 49ers) just won

Been rooting for them all season, even though I don't find any of them particularly hot or fuckable

Can't root for the Ravens. Ray Lewis still socmes across as a unrepetent phony to me.

Still think the 49ers were the better team ... but for that last freakily lucky play, they would have clinched the Superbowl.

I haven't had the time to see what changes may have been brought about the draft, and other personnel changes, and what they portend for the upcoming season, but for 2012, I still acknowledge the 49ers as the best.
