The Seattle Seahawks were down 19 to 7 against green bay in Seattle with 3:19 left to play.

Fans had given up on hopes to go to the superbowl again and started leaving the stadium.

The odds of winning in a comeback were less than 100 to 1 and tonight it happened.

It started with a field goal turned play fake for the seahawks first desperate touchdown in the 3rd quarter putting the score at 16-7.

Green bay field goal, then another touchdown from seattle making it 19-14 with 2:13 to go.

Seattle kicks on side, the ball bounces off a packers hands and is seahawks ball.

Two minute warning and another seahawks touchdown and theyre up 20-19 needing a 2 point conversion to avoid elimination against a packers field goal.

Another miracle as qb russell wilson passes with nowhere to go, green bay hustles for a field goal and its tied 22-22.

Overtime: more magic as the seahawks win the coin toss. Wilson throws deep, and again to jermaine kearse for a touchdown, game over.

Packers lose with a 16 point lead moving into the 4th quarter, 4 interceptions thrown by russell Wilson intended for kearse.

Packers had 3 opportunities for touchdowns but opted for field goals- Seattle didnt make that same mistake.

Seahawks kicker ryan throws for a touchdown and saves his team twice with the off side kick.

These victories only come once in a lifetime, the last 46 teams to face these long odds all lost.

Wilsons redemption comes in the rain city.

best football game I have watched in a long time! I had money on Seattle and had given up hope until Bostick missed the kick and Seattle capitalized from then on!! Awesome!!! $$$$$$
 
I'm glad Seattle won too.

The Packers seemed to have had the ability to "snatch defeat out of the jaws of certain victory."

Should be one heck of a Super Bowl!
 
I saw this last night, and it totally blew everyone at the bar away. The following Patriots and Colts game was pretty boring unless you were a die-hard Pats fan though.

So the Pats and the Seahawks are going to the Superbowl. Hopefully it won't be a complete blow out like the past couple of Superbowls, something which I could still see happening.

The game was over once it went into overtime. Rodgers came out for the coin toss with a total "we're fucked" face on, and at that point I knew the hawks were going to win regardless of toss' outcome. Even if the Packers had won that toss Rodgers would thrown another interception, a fumble, or just flat out wouldn't have been able to get a first down. They had no working strategy for overtime in that game at all.
 
Absolutely insane last night. My body completely shut down due to euphoria and intoxication. I woke up today thinking..is this monday?

Im a bit intimidated by Pat's score, that shows Pat isn't a team who likes to play conservatively/ annoyingly love to killing time ..that team pounds hard till finish, a note seahawks must taken.

But idk why the Pat has less coverage than Seahawks win? I saw news and 50% mostly about seahawks comeback play.

That SH/GB game was one of the best games I've ever seen. Congrats to Seattle. See you in Glendale ;)
 
Yes the packers were arrogant and a lot of other things, and its so bad for their team to scapegoat that missed off side catch when they had so many other opportunities. They played into their fears.

Then the pats have already lost the public image battle its infamous and has dirtied the superbowl.
