I'm happy for New York, but with all the media attention lavished on their recent marriage equality ruling, one would swear that NY legislators 1- invented it 2- were the first ever to implement it. Five states before them have had same sex marriage and several countries have been allowing "us" to marry for years. Time to ease up on the self-congratulations already.
 
That's an old pic of the falls.....

For those of us who are well acquainted with Niagara Falls, they turn on the multi-colored lights each evening for a few hours. It adds another dimension to this natural wonder, and attracts night time visitors to come and spend more money.

I have even been there at night in January. It looks awesome with the multi-colored lights and the mounds of snow and ice! :D
