Nice Guy Syndrome?

yep!!! all girls at my former high school see me nothing more than just good friends. lol. I am nice by nature, so it is hard for me to be mean to someone.
 
I guess I do, somewhat. I've always been cordial to people, unless they're REALLY being a prick; then they get it thrown right back at them. I've never considered myself a "people person" and usually went out of my way to keep to myself.

However, I've had more people tell me they'd rather deal with me than other co-workers because I'm not grumpy or short with them. I don't think that has anything to do with my gayness but more to do with how I was raised.
 
i am also a nice guy. the only exception is i treat people the way i want to be treated, unless the guy is asking for a verbal beatdown. generally im a pretty easy guy to get along with.
 
I'm nice for the most part. Every once in a while, I expose the deeper, darker jerk to deserving parties, but even that's rare.
 
my bf and i used to laugh about that all the time.....

i'm a nice guy!...but i'm a big guy, too and quite muscular when i was working out and traing hard at martial arts (Tang Soo Do)

he told me once that all the gay guys at our favorite clubs were scared to death of me so they wouldn't be too flirty or touch him much when i was around....

an old bf of his (a very cool guy) was deathly afraid of me, but my bf talked him into coming over one day for a visit....

i met him at the front door with my rifle (unloaded) and scared the shit out of him....we all had a great laugh....and we became great friends.....enjoyed doing lots together (not sexual.....we were monogamous)

george would always tell the story of being met with a gun....and NEVER to fuck with me or my bf.....

but i'm a nice, sweet guy.....i just SEEM intimidating....lol
