Oh, the people I forgot --

Father Robert Heinz, having gotten caught being a little too passionate about his youth outreach, will get sent to Barrelon to be the campus chaplain, because the college boys are too old to interest him. (That little problem is, of course, why someone who was first in his class in college and seminary, and handsome, too, got sent to the least glamorous of four Catholic churches in a decidedly unglamorous Michigan factory town in the first place.)

John and Caroline Balusik will sell Balusik's grocery just six weeks before WalMart starts building a superstore in East Sequoya. They will go to Barrelon and open what quickly becomes the most popular pizza place there. (Caroline's special MexiRican Pizza will be famous.) That place, the Noble Scarlet, will become a second home venue for Chili Comet Sundae. The Balusiks will park their two kids with the Brad/Marissa/Hale baby at John's, which will be what finally gets him to turn day care into a business.

Ralph and Jason, at loose ends in Geschichte Falls with everyone else they know gone, will go up to Barrelon and work as waiter-bartenders at the Noble Scarlet. (Tasha, having sensibly decided that it would be ridiculous to bring up a child with Ralph, will have given up the baby for adoption without telling the Balusiks. When Ralph finds out, he will cry for three entire minutes.) Jason and Ralph will get quite a reputation for having threesomes with college girls; one of the great perennial questions around campus will be whether Ralph and Jason "do it with each other," with half of the girls insisting they did it in front of them and the other half insisting they didn't and don't. Every time that someone asks any of the Geschichte Falls people in town about Ralph and Jason, the only answer they ever get is a roll of the eyes and a shake of the head.

The Ralph-Jason-college girl threesomes are, of course, the two guys' way of acting out, because the person they really want to have sex with is Russell. But between Flipper, Cody, and the art history professor, Russell simply won't have time to squeeze Jason and Ralph into his schedule.

Why did I not see this? Is this new? Well, what I think and what does happen I will keep to myself for another story, though I will release Robert Heinz from the future you made for him. He's just not that type of guy and quite frankly i have priests in other stories that have their own demons, and doubtless some of them are that type of guy. Out of everyone you mentioned I do know for sure where some of them turn up because some of them turn up in other stories and Brad and Nehru may very well go to Barrelon for a time. I bet they do, but it's not where they end up and where they do end up, I think will surprise you. I definitely don't think you're too far off the mark with Ralph or Jason,. Russell, though, remains a myserty even to me.
