I dislike seeing
Thread: "Skinny Guys" Post: "I don't like skinny guys."
Thread: "Cute Young Guy" Post: "Too young; I like older."
Thread: "Chubby-cutie" Post: "Fat guys are gross."
Thread: "Pee-vids here" Post: "Guys who like piss are pathetic."

What's the point of clicking on a thread you don't like? Just to put somebody down? It makes YOU look bad, at least in my eyes.

This should please everybody:

I dont like "i dont like anti-posts" threads so :p

Just kidding, nice picture by the way.

I think its natural for people to want to voice their opinion on a subject matter, i myself have said "well not my taste" a few times, but its when someone trys to put other people down that its beond wrong.

Well if you put a thread up, you are basically asking other peoples opinion of the subject. Some opinions might be negative, some positive. Thats just life.

NO!!! You put up a thread NOT to draw criticism but to SHARE with guys of similar taste.
>>> Someone who HATES skinny guys should not even click on a thread labelled "SKINNY GUY," much less POST that they hate them???

i kind of agree, i dislike seeing it on the celeb forum, but you are fighting a losing battle here ruxx

I think you should be able to post pictures of twinks in the twinks forum without someone saying "I hate twinks". Thats just posting something for the sake of it and serves no purpose.

I never go in the Daddies forum and say I dont like older men...

There are several Jubbers who seem to do this on purpose. I really don't see the point in posting an "anti-post". If you don't like something, then why did you click on a post about that topic in the first place?

Think it's akin the to dumb blond syndrome - and we all have our moments...maybe.

Amature: And then some one looking for dildo pics, gets a reply - I've never used a dildo Did we need to know that?

Fetish: The one that always gets me is people who click on the watersports links to say they're disgusted. Why click dimbo?

A while back there was some character here who always replied that porn depressed him. Trust they've locked him up by now....

I always groan when I see a post in the twink forum which says "Gee, he looks kinda young."

The fact is twinks do look "kinda young" in the same way bears look "kinda hairy"!!!!

I agree whole heartedly Ruxxx. "Anti-posts" are pointless and ruin the moment for people who ARE into chubby guys or skinny guys or whatever. How many times have I come across something that doesn't do it for me? As a curious person by nature I love looking a threads with stuff I wouldn't get involved in. But it's a real piss off when some loser just feels he needs his soap box moment on the thread to boost his post count or register his high moral standards or, I don't know, compensate for his small dick and pimply ass.

I think people should show some respect for others tastes and interests, ESPECIALLY in forums meant to explore them. Otherwise you get no interesting talk or exchange because people just won't expose themselves for fear of being pissed on.

With the (pointless) proliferation of stickies at the top of forums (like, does ANYONE read those?). Perhaps it's time to ask the MODS to finally say enough to one line "Ewwww! that's so GROSS" posts. I can see value in a post that says "not my thing , but I was wondering if..." or "I have trouble with this fetish because..." at least that's contributing something to the thread, But the little bitchy quips from "better than you" princesses... nope, just empty and self agrandizing.

Maybe they need a forum of their own. It could be called "Listen to me, I have the Way all written down in my little book"...... Oh, sorry... the Evangelical movement have that all tied up don't they?

Here here!! or is that Hear hear??

Anyways

Anti posts are basically just hate posts

Sure, debate & even constructive critism are healthy, but I have nver understood, why a guy goes into a Piss thread and says "I hate piss its disgusting!" or maybe they are the person who walks into a Bakers shop for no reason other than to tell the person behind the counter that they themsleves are not a baker nor do they like baking. lol

Mindless wastes of energy...that typing time could have been put to use saying something positive.....

And on that note..off I go :)

Have a great day everyone

This forum is one which should allow us to either share our enthusiasms or, in the spirit of Festivus, air our grievences.

While I agree that 'I hate twinks', 'Bears' (or whatever) may be a little too general, there are several kinds of porn for which I have a strong dislike. Ideally, this forum should serve the purpose of allowing me both to find like minded individuals, and to hear opposing points of view.

For example, several months ago I started a thread 'Bel Ami/Europorn Sucks!' Personally, it was nice for me to find out that several JUBers agreed with me that timid, half-hearted attempts at kissing and blow jobs, dubbed moans, and insipid Europop soundtracks completely undermined the erotic appeal of these videos, regardless of how 'hot' the models were. And there were others who disagreed. At any rate, it was nice to see the spectrum of opinion on this subject.

Other hobbyhorses of mine which I have addressed in this forum include my critique of 'mainstream' American (read Falcon) porn, and barebacking, especially in some of the fringier stuff coming out of Eastern Europe where the skinny armed 'twinks' look like they are fucking for food (you usually can count their ribs!) Exploitation of any sort is a major turn off here.

Sometimes it is necessary to start a controversial, negative thread in order to spark interest and initiate dialog.

And you know, I agree with what you're saying. I love a good discussion and exchange of ideas. I do believe however, that it doesn't belong in the Adult content area where people are not looking for discussion so much as something a bit more carnal.

I like a decent discussion too. As I mention in my earlier post... I kinda find it interesting when someone has a different opinion or is looking to discuss a point a view. What I think is pointless are the one line put downs that have become the norm in many of the threads. "you're sick" or "that's disgusting" frankly add nothing to a discussion and invite retaliation.

All things in their place

i totally agree... i just said something similar to this in the "is anderson cooper gay?" thread.

i rarely pipe up here, and i've been a JUB person since they took over linkmeallover.ca, but when people are just being mean and flaming just for the sake of flaming something is off

Holy crap guys...instead of trying to make everyone else change (SO not gonna work) why not just change yourself? Just ignore the posts that bug you. Trust me, lost easier to do that

actully I have post on a so called anti-post the long lad who thinks all gays over a certain age should go hide so he does not have to deal with them. I reminde him that he is growing older with every breath that he takes

Meh.

I've come to expect it.

I'll post pictures of our new Fratmen model and there's always some clown who's got to post something like "he's ugly" or "He's not as good as _______" or "What's up with those eye brows."

I usually ignore them.

There's one member who's always posting to me that he thinks all of our models look "exactly the same" and are "the same broken record." Of course, he doesn't really believe that, he's just trying to get even with me for argueing with him about totally unrelated things.

None of it really makes a difference.

It's all just people who need to be twits.

Actually, I'm not thinking of myself, but some guy who posts a pic of his crush or especially his fetish (like "Cute Skinny Guy") only to go back and see "YUCK! Skinny guys are pitiful, and so are people who like them." - a deliberate attempt to destroy someone elses pleasure.
P.S. Skinny guy here > http://members.lycos.co.uk/ruxman/Holger.html

I think it just one of those subjects that both sides have equally good arguments. Yes, it seems odd that someone would ever click on a link in the first place know they won't like what's about to be shown, never mind the posting part. But discussion on a subject is good and hearing from some one that they don't like something FOR A PARTICULAR REASON may lead others to try new things and gain ground in the ever-constant race to improve ourselves. This is not to say I condone flaming, (the posting kind that is) blatant disregard for decency and out right attacks are useless, and that's why the forum rules are there to protect everyone. All in all, the system works sometimes and that, as weird as it may be, is something everyone will just have to accept.

You've got a great gallery. Nice collection of Matthew Young, especially those of him smiling. Don't see many of those around.
