No more knocking one out in Texas

State Representative Farrar is making a valid point, and I sympathize with her challenge as she seeks to push back against the Lone Star State's oppressive anti-women laws.

Unfortunately, the tide is against her at present, so the gesture (bill) would surely never get out of committee, but the point is still well made.

Good for her for making the disproportionate treatment of men and women in Texas a headline.

Can we please think about the unborn sperm who are willfully discarded, flushed and those who are swallowed?

Republicans in Texas might actually PASS this ridiculous law. Soon to be complete with mandatory CCTV, semen detectors, and filing weekly penis reports in quadruplicate.

A new state bureaucracy, for the express purpose of auditing the weekly penis reports and random-sample auditing of sensor reports and camera footage, will be formed.

TO COME LATER: sentencing, as second-degree murder, men who have wet dreams at night - just as some women are being sent to prison for miscarriages.

The state would be porn producers soon

Worth repeating.

It is almost funny that most people (men) are automatically missing the point.

What next, proposing a law to make it illegal for men to be gay, because of "blah blah misogyny blah blah discrimination"?
(and far-left gay men would actually support this too.)

They're missing it because you're not involving one of the three things humanity cares about. Someone made a bumper sticker once-upon-a-time and ne'er truer words were spoken. "Ass, gas or grass, no-one rides for free." Seems to include a basic life lesson, there. Removing the fun possibilities or the means to get there isn't particularly productive (ha, pun) to the situation but if you take their everloving ass into account then I'm sure a couple things could be arranged during a hospital visit so that they may ....look on in wonder about how bloody stupid they were.

-To add, I don't think some of them missed the point. They just don't care about discrimination unless it's happening to them. Take a look at Saska's 'discrimination, misogyny I don't give a fuck, what about meeeeeeee' utterance.

-To the addition, Saska; get over yourself. If views akin to yours weren't so selfish, irresponsible & illogical the men of Texas wouldn't be looking at a piddly fine in the hopes that the mediocre amongst you might slip and land balls-first on a Clue.

oh yea, I'm so selfish because I think that taking away rights and invading people's privacy is not the solution.

Once again, let me point out that this is a thread full of people who are defending a law (even a "statement" law) that not only bans masturbation, but also involves putting security cameras INSIDE people's homes.
Tell me again how left-wingers are "progressive"? even North fucking Korea doesn't put cameras inside people's houses.

No, you're selfish because you don't care that people have already done these things and you're fine with them happening to anyone with a uterus. You only trot out the 'evils of the left' when it seems that you, personally, might be inconvenienced. Live and learn, you're not nearly as subtle as you seem to consider yourself.

So in order for me not to be selfish, I must support an anti-masturbation law, and a law stating that cameras must be installed in people's houses?

I am NOT anti-abortion, but I want you to explain to me why in order to be pro-abortion, I must also support men being banned from masturbating, and supporting cameras being installed in their houses?
If this is what it takes, I do NOT support your cause.

I have a novel concept.... how about allowing women to get abortions, without banning men from masturbating?

It's obvious that you're only interested in spiting men, rather than making any progress... so if that's going to be the case, I do not support you.
