From a walk I did yesterday on one of the many beautiful trails around my area. Spring is in the air and the wildflowers are starting to bloom, so I was able to give my macro lens a good workout, too.

Some wildflower macros snapped along the way ....

Looks so much like my grandparent's cottage country. Very beautiful. Thank you for sharing, it brought back fond childhood memories.

I wish I had your skill with the camera, ozguy. I've yet to see you take a bad picture of ANYTHING. :=D:

What region of Australia is it?

OZzzz-some.... I particularly like your up close flora and flauna.. those are some of my favorite to take as well...

Thanks, mate ... and thanks everyone else for your lovely comments. It really gives me a buzz to know that my pics give pleasure to others.

What region of Australia is it?
Right down the bottom of Western Australia (south-west corner), about 15 km east of Albany. The Luke Pen Walk is about a 9km round trip and follows the banks of a river called the Kalgan. It's a really beautiful walk, though I've yet to walk the whole length of it.

Soooooo... that's how winter looks like in 'Stralia? I wonder how it will look in the summer!!!

I like the flower ones. So bright and fragile...

Wow. I am not a big fan of photography but these pictures are really stunning.

Absolutely gorgeous pictures ! Thanks so much for posting.

Holy cow man.. those are some of the most beautiful pictures I've seen.

You have a great eye for natural beauty and certainliy seem to know how to use a camera for great effect..

Thanks for sharing those pictures... Tons or porn on jub, not enough of picutures like those.

Would there be crocs in those pools? :luv2:
Goodness me no! lol You only find crocs across the top of Oz, not down the bottom where these pics were taken (and where I live).

Again, thanks for all the great comments, guys! (*8*)
