Nobel Peace Prize Premature Ejaculation

Domestically I think this hurts Obama much more than it helps him. It does tend to point out the fact that he has achieved little so far. It reinforces the view that he is all style and no substance. It just gives more ammunition to his critics and leaves his supporters a little dumb founded. I also think this was a big fuck you to Bush.

A side note to our European friends- the more you kneel down at the Obama altar, the more it turns off a lot of Americans.
 
After giving it to a Muslim terrorist, a befuddled peanut farmer and wacked out enviormentist nut, the prize has not value or meaning. So why not give it to this empty sock puppet. I just want to know who has his hand shoved up Obama's ass to work his month.
 
Stacy, of course, had the right answer. The world thanks us for the constitutional removal of the Bush presidency. Shame it didn't happen sooner.

Meanwhile, I heard on the radio that the money will go to charity. Also heard, as others have said, that the President feels humble and that there is more work to do.

Methinks it's a symbol! Not quite the symbol of teabags, but this prize will look better in Washington than a pair of Liptons...

The Greatest Politician in the Country wins the Nobel Peace Prize...Hot Damn....|....Last Friday we lost the Olympic bid and today we win the Nobel Prize..This was right on time...Only Obama can pull this type of shit off...LOL...Only Obama...

This event takes us back to the campaign days of the "Obama Machine" that ran over the Clintons, McCains, Palins and the Republican party...Whenever he needed a "boost" , out of the blue he always got it in spades...

amen. i think this is totally premature.

i liked obama and his politics, but i don't wanna reward him just for being inspirational. as a voter, i want results.

i think he realizes this is premature and was probably surprised as most of us were. But at least he's donating the money.

I don't see how you can push this war on to Obama. He inherited it from Bush, who had a hand at starting these wars.

Anyway though I personally don't see how he got this. There are many more people out there more deserving of this award than him.

Ooooh brother....You are naive if you think a new Administration can clean up a pile of 8yr old shit in 8-months.....All of you continue to let your personal feelings about Obama take you OFF topic..Obama did not campaign for the Nobel award..This is not about Beers, or his birth certificate, or whether or not you agree or disagree with him talking to American kids about Education...

He was nominated for the award by ANOTHER country..They gave it to him which means AMERICA benefits by the honor..We were HATED all around the Globe a year ago and ALL of that changed when the Obamas moved into the white house...Like it or not those are the FACTS....

President Obama is the Leader of the Free World, and if he is viewed well overseas then so is our Country...Ask yourselves a question. Do you really have a problem with a panel selecting President Obama for an award or do you really have a problem with Obama?

Before President Obama was selected for the Nobel Peace Prize NONE of you knew who won the prize last year...And none of you gave a Damn...

If he pulls out of the wars, he's a "pansy-ass, left-winged commie that hates America and it's freedoms"

If he stays and fights, he's a "war-monger that's not living up to his promises. Spending money his "bankrupted" country doesn't have to spend".

Either way, the right will attack him.

What could Obama possibly do to appease the conservative right ? The short answer is, nothing.

Well, pumpkin... I'd like to think that Obama actually believes in America and would like to see it get back on some sort of positive track.

His "Democratic majority" is failing him.

Think about it: Something as basic as health care for all Americans has been ripped to shreds by all this nonsense about death panels and "pulling the plug on Grandma" and all the other bullshit.

We have the Republican right, (and sadly, many Dem's as well) who are well funded by the insurance lobbyists standing at their podiums and saying with a straight face that quality health care for all our citizens is a bad thing. #-o

And unfortunately there are enough Americans dumb enough to believe them.

Perhaps we will get what we deserve.

Really? it does not bother me at all considering all that American has done for Europe during WW 1
and WW ll. As for their contributions to the war in Afganistan (via Nato Forces) their contributions leave much to be decided. Interesting how they don't want their hands to get dirty as to often happens to the Americans.

While you're correct in stating that McCain voted against the MLK Holiday, it was signed into law by President Reagan on November 2, 1983.
 
Yeah that what I think... nothing against Obama and he may come to deserve it... but I don't have much respect for the gits on the nobel committe.
 
I am frankly kinda embarassed about his winning for "future" projections....

If one would only look at the past receipents, I just don't see this kind of credentials, do you?

Sure, I'm pleased as punch for our President to win; but geeeeezzz, double the national debt, and telling every terrorist that we are sorry gets you the nobel prize???

We're still in Iraq, we're still in Afghanistan (at war) and people still being killed daily and we're probably getting ready to send thousands more over there.....

Sorry to throw some cold water on the NPP; but it kinda cheapens the prize itself for past and future winners!(*8*):kiss:
