Noel from Sean Cody suspended from High School

I think the reason you're repeatedly making this argument is because you don't have a real one for what people are actually discussing.

Not a single person here has said he shouldn't have been allowed to do it. The concept of either applauding it, applauding the conditions that led him to his decision, or applauding his mother for approving of it are not at all qualified by "take responsibility, he's 18."

It's very hypocritical to not applaud something when you jack off to it on a regular basis. And those who think they don't should think again. You don't know the back stories of the guys in porn. As I said earlier, nobody knows of "the conditions that led him to his decision," so we shouldn't jump to conclusions and act like we do. And who knows if his mother approved of it right away? Who knows if she didn't know of what he did until afterwrds? Who knows if it took her some time to support her son's decision?

We don't. And that's why we shouldn't pass judgement on someone whom we don't even know. That's what I've been saying all along.

Spider or crabwalk, on all fours but facing up.

Ah okay. That's probably one reason I don't really like this kind of over-produced porn is because it's so artificial watching them assume 4 or 5 different sexual positions for 3 minutes apiece in what is presented to you as one continuous sex act. Too unrealistic.

Speak for yourself.

If I found out post-facto that a porn actor or actress was forced to perform in the sex scene, I am an official supporter of the human sex slave market and have no right to criticize it. Especially if I've ever masturbated to any porn in existence.

That's the argument you're giving me. And it's garbage.

Why I've never done it. I would last two minutes in that boy, if that

Dude, your very words reinforces our concerns. No we don't know what or, in this case, who got them into the sex trade industry. But I'm pretty sure most (not all, but most) kids don't aspire to do porn.

Yes, most of us watch porn and maybe that's why I DON'T want to know their back stories. Hell, I don't even want to see their faces, unless they have hot body hair and graying at the temples (yum!!). But when a story such as this happens, when a young soul who hasn't even had a chance at a future yet, is guided into the sex industry, bareback no less!!, by his main caregiver, his mother, that's when I have issues. See, I'm a little different than most here as I am a parent and my views are slightly skewed.

You're putting words in my mouth. Let's stay on topic here. I am saying that since you don't know the whole story about how "Noel" got into porn, you shouldn't jump to conclusions. If we find out that "Noel" was forced into the human sex slave market, then by all means, criticize as much as you want.

I have no problem saying that the overwhelming majority of good parents who knew their kids were performing in unprotected pornography because of family financial trouble would be ashamed.

What further information do I require for this statement?

One thing I want to comment on as well...

The kid is eighteen. Eighteen may be considered a legal adult, but eighteen year olds don't know the consequences of their actions. In fact, studies have shown that the human brain is still developing well into your twenties.

I'm all for people doing porn if they consent to it, but I really hope the kid realizes that unprotected sex is not the way forward, all that's going to do is get him some life long condition like HIV or Hepatitis.

Yep.

..........

But what I'm saying is, how do you know she guided him into porn? How do you know she didn't find out until afterwards and had to take some time to accept it? I'd rather his mother be supportive, than disown him and leave him homeless. That would make his life much worse. I'm not trying to jump to conclusions here, I'm just saying that's also a possibility.

So, it's best to not use "Noel" or his mother as examples of that when we don't know if that's really what happened.

Regardless of whether the kid goes to college or not, it will likely be very difficult for him to get a job in the real world because he did porn. Most companies won't hire porn stars, regardless of whether they are gay or straight. It's not a discrimination issue, it's an issue of companies wanting to avoid unneeded controversy. It's truly a catch 22, you lie about your past employment and they can terminate you for that. You tell the truth and they simply won't hire you.

Also, to everyone who says he should sue...discrimination cases are very difficult to prove. Unless they have evidence that the principal suspended him because he's gay then they can run with this threats reason and likely win.

He will need to hire a lawyer to purge his name from search engines and social media once the controversy has died down and he has graduated, but that could get expensive. Litigation against the school might pay for these costs though. Anyway, porn is not an automatic career killer. There was a Japanese MLB player who did a gay porn.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread one of my h.s. teachers had been a porn actor some time earlier. However, there is a certain degree of discretion involved in transitioning into a normal everyday career if you have a porn past. And this kid creating public fundraisers for himself over this whole issue is not exactly being discreet.

I suppose that goes back to the point of an 18 year old in h.s. not fully understanding the lifelong implications of these kinds of decisions.

Funny... I don't see it that way at all.

I see "kids" who want as much money as possible with as little work as possible. They all want their 15 minutes of fame (and fortune) aspiring to be the next Justin Bieber or Miley Cirus, American Idol, Runway model, Movie Star, Porn star... hell, some are even willing to be felons to get that spot on the TV News.

I see "kids" with entitlement issues who expect the world to bow down and hand them everything on a silver platter, whose only concept of the "American Dream" is an "American Pipe Dream" of living the Hollywood life style and doing very little to have to EARN it.

I see "kids" who have no concept of consequences, no drive, no ambition, no morality, and very little standards for themselves.

Since no one else has pointed it out... this was the first and only post of the OP, whom also just so happens to live in Florida... for all I know, the OP is "Noel", hoping to drum up more 'fans', and more publicity adding to his wallet in his fast track to stardom.

To be honest, I don't think he would win a lawsuit anyway. In order to prove sexual orientation discrimination he has to prove that that is the reason he was suspended. If the reason was because he did porn, that isn't sexual orientation discrimination, if the reason was because he threatened to stab a bully, that isn't discrimination either. He has to prove that the principal maliciously discriminated against and punished him for being gay. Then he would win.

In addition, the case would go before a jury. All you need is one person on that jury who thinks homosexuality is wrong or that porn is vile and his lawsuit sinks.

The only people who get rich from lawsuits are the lawyers, he would be better served saving money for school and trying to correct his porn past.
