Noel from Sean Cody suspended from High School

Speaking of his supposed "threats" to the bully...does anyone find it funny how it seems that school administrators/teachers/etc. don't get up off their ass to do anything about bullying until talks of guns, knives, etc. come into the picture?

Do any of you have children, cousins, etc. that are currently in middle or high school? I hope things have changed since my time in school, but I remember they did absolutely zilch to protect gay kids from being bullied. Also in subsequent years after...speaking with cousins...it appears some of them saw the same. I even started going to some of the schools and talking to friends and friends of friends who are educators...imploring them to speak up when they witness children getting bullied.

Not saying all of them are indifferent, but they do seem to have a lax approach at handling the situation. But when the bullied kid steps up in that bitch with an AK-47, you all of a sudden have a fire lit beneath your ass, right?

It's like they have a 'kids will be kids mentality", until someone decides to rid themselves of their tormenters.

I find it disgusting a studio would exploit a high school kid whether he's legal age or not. Someone like that isn't emotionally mature enough to know the consequences of his actions and Sean Cody is taking advantage of this kid's immaturity. Expecting a teenager in high school to perform in front of a camera, barebacking no less. It's borderline demonic. Put your life at risk for a thousand dollars.

Sean Cody is sleazy enough to do something like this as they've hired one of the nastiest lawyers on the face of the earth to protect their copyright.

These bottom dwellers don't care how many lives they ruin in the process, just as long as they exploit the naive for profit. They're counting on kids like this..... desperate and willing to do things to help out a rough family. Studios like Sean Cody will never get my money. I've seen studios like this before prey on the immature and down on their luck kids. One pornographer even admitted his cash cow was "a fucked up kid", but that didn't stop him from making a few thousand dollars off him. Talk to one of these pornographers and you'll see just how repulsive they are. It's no wonder people like Sean Cody hide their identities.

This is the ugly side of porn. If you believe those pretty models they seduce into barebacking for your entertainment are enjoying this, think again. They'll keep on exploiting these kids as long as they can make a buck.

Am I a bad person to not having a [STRIKE]tea[/STRIKE] sympathy from all ^ of that? :?
No, I shouldn't ask, simply I just dont think the same way like you.

Regarding this case, all this liberal BS of "it's his choice" is all bullshit. Does anyone here honestly think it was completely free will that he did porn? Being pressured into doing it either by parents or by dire financial situation ain't complete free will. Some people here are more deluded than I thought.

On that level, very few people in the US make many decisions based on free will, because we are such slaves to the corporate state. Maybe if everyone had another $6k/yr to spend there would be more decisions based on free will and not economic coercion/necessity.

Because of the forums. There are more than a few of us who have no use for the porn side of the site. I was here a long time before I realized there even was porn here.

I barely use the porn part too. I'm here just for the forums as well.

Watching everyone come down on Sean Cody is hilarious, especially when their ads frequent the site on a regular.

Everyone wants to be moral now, but don't ever think of the stories of these men when they're busy stroking.

I barely know what "Sean Cody" is, and I don't have to put up with ads.

Oh, yes it will -- because if a college rejects him because he engaged in a legal activity, he'll be suing the school and getting a free education.

Ever seen a college rejection letter, though? Good luck ever knowing the real reason. You get a pro forma statement citing how many applicants they received and that they had to begin choosing students based on ??? reasons beyond GPA and such.

Edit: That being said, I can't possibly imagine how many admittance officers will see this kid's real name and immediately recognize him. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of straight people don't even know what Sean Cody is.

Two reasons why they would. Colleges are unapologetically liberal, i.e. forgiving of a past that perhaps would not be amenable to older more conservative schools of thought, i.e. porn is not the moral failure it was in the past, and two, they are wary of appearing prejudiced if say one were to reject him. The effect of such a ruling as in the case of the common law system we have in the United States would be more than just a win for this young man. It would be precedent for scrutinizing all gay rights cases were he to win an education discrimination case, but there is already such precedent, which is why I think he could and should win.

A registered-for-life (because his girlfriend's mother got pissed at him) sex offender I know of got accepted to a state college -- it was a misdemeanor, but still it's worse than doing porn. He's even eligible for grants and scholarships.

At many colleges now the admittance officers don't see the kid's name anyway -- heck, when I was part of the acceptance committee for guys applying to live in the house I was at when at OSU, we didn't see their names.

I believe you are correct that that is normal procedure. So unless he continues to draw a lot of attention to this issue, it shouldn't be an issue. That being said, the deadlines for college apps tend to be fairly early in the year, and he had expressed interest in the military-- hadn't seen a word about college. Everyone just presumes he wants to go to college.

And again, he can waste money at college if he wants, but he won't be getting a professional job. If he lies about his porn past he can be fired for that. If he tells the truth they won't hire him anyway. If you google his name (which HR people do) you'll see this story. This is a national news story, it isn't going to disappear from the internet.

He's best off trying to stay in the industry and maybe start his own porn company or something.

Whether good or bad you can get your name stricken from search engines.

Today I caught preview of Noel and his debut with Sean Cody Must say I was impressed with his body and sexual energy. Took bold steps on his part to make plunge into gay porn. Hope he makes through the school year. With his jock body he will be able to take care of himself.

Lucky, it seems like you're injecting a lot of your own skepticism into the discussion. The man has legal rights that lawyers can successfully argue, regardless of how you think his image may be perceived.

Of course he has legal rights. I'm just talking about how he will be received. And if you're telling me that someone that bottoms in gay bareback porn (from the south no less) is going to be celebrated then we must live in different worlds.
That and also I'm not sure how you go about proving discrimination in this specific case. That being said I think he'll be fine and I wish him luck.

In an interview, his mother referred to the fellow students as children.

“I think that it is [the principal's] morals and her personal beliefs and I don’t think that this is anybody’s business except for my son’s,” Lieb told another CNN affiliate. “The children at the school found [the porn], and she didn’t do anything to stop it.”
