North Korean Leader Kim Jong II reported dead

For one, that isn't a leftist thing and what the DPRK government is doing is not something the left as a whole approves. The DPRK is a murderous regime, and to compare leftists like myself to it is an insult.

And let me guess... responsibility and initiative is something the right wing does? Oh please. What a poor argument. Responsibility and initiative is something many leftists advocate. Stop misspeaking for us, and stop trying to group us with Kim Jong Il.

You rely on blanket statements and stereotypes.

And as far as I've seen the right wing in America hardly is the beacon of responsibility and initiative... rather irresponsible spending and poorly thought out military aggression.

Did you ever learn how to find the point of a comparison?

Most of your post has nothing at all to do with what I said.

The weeping looked like a mixed batch -- some real, but an awful lot of it faked.

Well, you have to realize that these people live/lived in a virtual bubble. For someone there who is in their 30's, you have to realize that for the past 30 years they were told "this man is a great and powerful leader who loves you very much, and has made this chair, this job, this building, all for you." "He has toiled for years for you to have what you have", when of course in reality, that have nothing to compare what they have, to. It's not as much "brainwashing" as it is "one sided history". It's like if you were told, without ever seeing him,....."your next door neighbor told me to give you this, because he is your Father/Brother/whatever, and though you can never see him, he loves you very much." Well, if someone tells you that, from the time you are a child until adulthood, you are going to have this false emotional attachment to "him" just based on human nature/need. Basically these people have only seen, and will--under his sons rule-- only see, one side of the coin.

It's still brainwashing, just on a massive -- societal -- scale.

You posted the stereotypes. I simply pointed them out. You have problems with anyone who is left wing politically. False comparisons prove nothing.

:rotflmao:

You "pointed out" things you pulled from thin air -- I didn't mention any of them.

I'll be laughing for a week over the "left wing politically" remark -- along with some others here who exercise reading comprehension.

You made a generalization and now you're backpeddling. I get it... you can't stick by your argument. I've read your posts thoroughly... so don't even try to insult my reading comprehension.

I'm not backpedaling, I'm standing pat and waiting for you to respond for once to the argument I made instead of dragging in other crap. Your reading comprehension doesn't need insulting by me; there isn't enough there to work with.

None of the things you've thrown about has had anything to do with my point. I made a simple, narrow comparison, and you're jumping on all sorts of shadows that don't even connect to it. Go back and try to get it.

Here are some hints:

I didn't say a thing about the North Korean regime.

I didn't compare any people to anything.

Good luck.

Not to sound completely outer fringed and conspiratorial, but is it possible that "we' (the U.S) had a hand in Kim Jong's relatively untimely death ?

(He died of a "massive heart attack" on a train, and no details were released for 48 hours....)

Just saying. Our country has been guilty of far worse.

My mommy taught me to always say only good things about the dead

Kim Jong is dead.......GOOD!

No not a chance. maybe quite a bit ago when Kim was saber rattling but he has been slowly dying and not part of the scene for quite some time. That and getting into that country is fucking impossible.

Unlikely. We'd rather have stability, and a death two years from now would have been much more convenient.

Besides, unless he changed his ways, there was only one train he ever rode, his very personal train with only long-serving and highly trusted workers on board and incredible security. The delay in announcing it probably stemmed from panic by people who nearly regarded him as a deity.

Satan just informed me that Kim Jung Il is taking over Jerry Falwell's old job of shoveling shit in hell.

Ronald Reagan is training him.

IMPORTANT MEDICAL UPDATE

The "Dear Leader" has been downgraded from Kim Jong Il to Kim Jong dead

Yep, I think I saw George Bush running away with a poison dart blower.

I hope you don't mind those black helicopters above your house.
