Well i'm 20 and i'm thinking about having a nose-job, i'm an average looking guy and the only thing i don't like on my face is my nose which is a little wider and curvier than it should, well i'm not looking for a drastic change just want the nose i should always have, i intend on following a carreer in entertainment and i think better looks help, searching in the internet realised how many celebrities had a nose job, it just made the cutter, even my idol Zac Efron!!!
Well did anyone had a nose-job so he can give me some info? Does it hurt? Details about the procedure etc...

I'm curious about this as well. My nose was broken while I was very young and, as such, it has a shape I do not much care for. I'm 27 and have been thinking more often about getting this thing re-shaped.

I can't give advice about nose jobs but I will say this, make sure the people who you get advice from don't profit from you having a nose job. If they do then they aren't going to tell you all the facts.

If chase is in the United States then he'll never be able to find such a doctor.

I would say go for it. If you aren't happy with your nose then why live with it if you can get it changed. Just pick a good doctor and figure out the possibly risk.

Don't let the media or entertainment industry dictate to you what is supposed to be attractive, we all are born with certain shortcomings, and some gifts. In the words of a comedienne, "these bitches are built", referring to all the celebrities with cosmetic surgeries. We're not buildings. Ultimately, of course, its a personal choice. Love your nose, its yours, its part of your self.

On a personal level, I find it unattractive if a guy considers cosmetic surgery, I let the ladies some slack, but men IMO should not put that much thought into vain and petty things like that. I know gay guys are a little different from straight guys in general, but still, just not very attractive. What's next, botox?

Do it if you want to do it...

Live for your self and no one else...

Let others think for them self...

I wanted a nose job sooooooo badly, i have a "Roman" nose...apparently. But the cost of a nose job and all that stuff, then it might look even worse after it'sdone....no thanks, i'd rather have the money and a bumpy normal nose lol

If i had more than enough money in the futuer to get it done, i still probably wouln't, it just wouldn't be the same walking into a room with no "Jaws" music accompanying me :P

I would be lying if I said the media had nothing to do with it, but I'm an adult man who is capable of deciding for myself instead of mindlessly obeying the omniscience of Fashion Television.

Yes, we are all born with certain shortcomings, but in this age we have options we never had before in the history of our species: We don't have to keep all of those shortcomings. We can make them go away. Science is awesome.

A friend had it done and he was a totally different person after.
Would it be prying if I were to ask more about this? How would you say he changed (physically, emotionally)?

Expect to feel shitty.
I think that's safe to say. You're right that it's not a minor piece of surgery. Thank you for your post, there were some bits about the procedure I didn't actually know before (such as things being stuffed all the way up inside your sinuses). I guess you'd have to really want it to go through all of that.

then it might look even worse after it's done
That's definitely a legitimate concern.

BTW, of all noses...why Zac Efron's?

Hint #1 - Check his avatar.
Hint #2 - So a 'post' search in his profile. List as 'posts'. Count how many times Zac's name appears on the first page alone.

That should clear up any confusion. ;)

well yes i mentioned Zac Efron as an example just cause he is my role model and pretend boyfriend etc... it was just an example of a celebrity who had a nose job!!!

Says the hot guy, lol. Is that you in your avatar? Cause you are blessed to look hot. My nose is big. I actually never once thought about fixing it though. It suits my face. I can see though why guys are bothered enough to get something done. If I had the money I would do a few body modifications. In all though for me being 36 I'm doing pretty good. But 10 years from now I may be a mess and want something done, lol. Of course finding the money is the hard part. How will you pay for it? Is it expensive?

In my culture, we're very superstitious and many believe that changing the nose is bad luck. The nose symbolizes prosperity and wealth, so any adjustment to the natural shape will have a negative effect.

Bullshit!!!! lol. I said my nose was big and I have the worst luck. Besides people who believe in wives tales and superstition are not living in the real world.
