Not a lot of happy campers

We usually do have an August slowdown, but I certainly don't doubt that the massive screwup that was this forum upgrade has a lot to do with things feeling slower around here. Strangely, traffic to the site is up significantly this past week, but perhaps not to the forums.

Anyway, I'm convinced that once the final bugs are worked out, you'll see a major increase in activity. We've also learned some very hard lessons about how to manage an upgrade... in a nutshell... do the exact opposite of everything we did this time.

I just get too busy at work this time of year - miss coming here as much as usual - but do as often as I can.
As far as some of the other comments - if you don't like a Thread, pass over it!!! I belong to another Website - and if you think people get "attacked" or are "hateful" of "bitchy" here...WOW - you guys are CALM compared to the other site. I've gotten to the point as so many others over there NOT to say a word and just look at the pictures. They have lost a LOT of members, and for some reason the Owner of that Website seems to take the side of the troublemakers - go figure!!
I like the new and improved JUB - I am not having any more problems with it and I did try to wait patiently (well-sort of....LOL!).

Well at least you didn't have a horrific server crash like straightacting.com. They were down for months, I think, and haven't really been the same website since they came back up.

He says 'eventually' because they are currently bound with elasticated Adidas jockstraps. Unfortunately, when A4BS was in the Scouts, he learned how to tie knots, but he had so much fun with the volunteers once they were tied, he missed the latter part of the lesson about how to untie the knots!!!
