Whoa, just whoa there! Janet had and has talent. Rihanna is talented, even though it's marginal. However, comparing Janet to Rihanna is a no-no as Janet has a better voice, has always been able to sing live, and clearly has the entertainer factor over Ri-Ri.

Who's excited that Rihanna is doing a so-called "tell all" interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20 this upcoming friday. I just hope she doesn't act like Chris Brown and say "I rather not talk about it"or "I want to protect his privacy and not answer". I can't wait to see the music video that going to play afterwards.

The second single off Rihanna's Rated R "The Wait is Ova" or "Wait Ur Turn" (whatever its called) was leaked. It's still an unfinished tagged version of it, but its still listenable. I listened to it a couple times and I love it. I'm still impressed by how her vocals are getting better. I think this album is going to be something different.

I prefer Russian Roulette compare to the 2nd single. But regardless of what we think of it, you know commercials or sport shows are gonna play the shit outta of it.

Everything on Good Girl Gone Bad is better than Russian Roulette and The Wait Is Ova


Wow....I knew she couldnt top GGGB but this is depressing.

Rihanna should have stuck to formula.

But Def Jam made a dumb move by letting Te Amo and Hatin On The Club go.

Te Amo was hugely successful and Hatin On The Club was a hot song.
 
Bad news guys: Russian Roulette is actually about Russian Roulette

Entertainment Tonight just interviewed Neyo and he confirmed that the song is about the game Russian Roulette :shock:

He said he and Rihanna thought it was an interesting subject over a crazy beat.


This disappoints me so much because here i was thinking it was a metaphor for an bad/abusive relationship.


I even took the song apart line by line proving to people that the song had an actual meaning.'

I feel like crap for defending the song and giving it a deeper meaning when the song writer is gonna come public and say its just about the game Russian Roulette.

Why would anyone sing about the game? unless it was for a movie soundtrack?> But why have it for your single ?


Just put it on the album but dont lead with it?

I dont see the point of singing about this dangerous game and expect people to buy it and eat it up just because Rihanna is singing.


This makes absolutely no sense.

IT would be so much more powerful and have such a greater impact if he said it was about a bad relationship as there is lyrical evidence to support it.


The gunshot at the end of the song was supposed to signal the end of the relationship, not a bullet though the head.


In the video what i had in mind was Rihanna slamming the door in her ex boyfriends face. But instead of the door slamming sound, you would hear the gunshot...wouldnt that have been genius.


Rihanna has lost her mind.

The song is the first single because they probably want the controversy so they can sell albums. Any press is good press, and all that. The first kid who kills themselves playing the game, they're going to lose their ass in a lawsuit though.
