What's new? Hmmm....I recently received a promotion, which I'm thankful for, but it's caused a lot of problems at work. I hope it will all even out after awhile. Just tired and busy...and getting over an icky cold.

Some kids at my school are starting up a student publication to showcase written and visual work. I'm in charge of layout and design. I'm also teaching a workshop on InDesign (the layout program we'll use) on Tuesday.

I think I'm depressed. Not seriously depressed but.... I just can't get myself to care about anything lately. I got fired over 2 weeks ago and I haven't made a single effort towards finding a new job.

In other news I had a really good weekend. Played well in my street fighter tournament, had a pleasant lie-in/lay with my bf this morning, hung out with a long-time internet friend who was in town that I'd never met irl... then I just get home and am so meh.

I can't even relieve my stress in my usual bikram yoga practice because there's this sudden influx of guys in class that are all extremely annoying. I know annoying people in yoga should just help my practice of shutting my mind off and only thinking of myself, but they're just so fucking obnoxious I don't know what to do. I swear they go to yoga to be like "heh, I go to yoga" and then in the locker room they feel the need to be chatty and turn yoga into a fucking masculinity contest. Oh man, today was hot! Didn't it feel hot? Boy I haven't gone in a while but I sure did well hrggh hrggh tits.
