Not exactly "out of the closet" ..but I went to my first gay club

I am out to one person who invited me to go to a gay club last night, and I somehow worked up the courage to go.

It was so awesome. I didn't even really do much besides stand around and stare at everything going on, it was so much to take in. I am a shy person who does not dance, so I will have to work on that aspect of it! I had a blast just talking to people my friend introduced me to, and then at the very end of the night some random guy actually started hitting on me, it was just amazing !


An average night for many of you I am sure, but it was the start of something totally new for me!

Last night it was your first time in a gay club. Next June, I bet you'll be Grand Marshall in the Pride Parade.

Glad you had a good time. The first few times I went, I did little other than soak in the sights, sounds, and experience too. There was a lot to take in, but it seemed so natural and at-ease to see men dancing, holding hands, and genuinely enjoying each other's company.

Hope you have many more good experiences!

Glad that you had a good time. I never went to a gay club or bar, waiting 'til I'm 21. I'm a little shy and don't dance, maybe my experience will be similar...

It doesn't even matter, I am VERY very very shy, and I sure don't dance...

That was courageous of you especially if you say that you're shy.

Spending time at gay clubs is like anything else, takes a few times to get used to feeling really comfortable. So just keep it up and you'll get the hang of it.

And the fact that you don't dance is not such a bad thing.. well for guys like me who will just dance up on you while you stand there.... hehe

I almost went to a gay club on friday with my two best girl friends. I passed right in front of it, but it seemed so raunchy. I don't know... I got so shy...
